I totally agree. I looked into his service, but it was not it all worth it for me to wait for David to handle the rentals for me. I work well beyond 40 hours a week, have a baby, and I am in graduate school, but I can STILL make time to handle rentals or transfers on my own. Also, I honestly want to communicate with the person who is renting my points and as reputable as David is, I still don't want him as an associate on my contract wether or not it is for a short time.
I believe he used to be added as an associate to peoples' contracts, but this is no longer the case; I think it changed because a limit was put in place with how many contracts a person could be listed on as an associate. Now when he gets a request for a reservation, he checks availabilty, then he emails several members to see which one would be available soonest to call and actually make the reservation, the member that get's back to him first is given the info to make the reservation with MS.
We did have some points listed with David back in September, but once the points had less than 6 months before expiration we decided we would try to use them ourselves for our May trip. I canceled my contract with David and was able to change my reservation to use the points ourselves. I definitely will list points with David when we have some to rent again.
