darkness of SSR rooms

just curious are the SSR rooms alot darker than OKW, or do they just appear that way on the computer?

I love the pictures of the outside landscaping!!!

I think you are seeing the effects of certain photographs! They current buildings all face the water and aren't surrounded by trees the way many OKW buildings are, so I would expect that they would actually be brighter.

I just returned from WDW and took a peek at the models at the BW. My impression was that they are much richer in colors and feel than any of the photos I had seen. Yes, perhaps darker in color than OKW but very cozy feeling and even a little luxurious. I loved them !! I saw the outside of the actual buildings at SSR and with not a lot of vegetation around the windows I would think they would get lots of light inside the units.

The furniture is very dark but the light color walls (yellow in some I think) really open up the room.
