I guess I wasn't the only one who was hoping for a finale like the one where Drew came jumping out onto the stage in his cowboy outfit and tore the stage apart with Cheryl. I think Mel could easily have done something that exciting, but either Maks is just a bad choreographer or she wanted to make it more like her Spice Girls stuff by using her own choreographers and creating something Maks isn't good at.

Well, he is a judge. I'm not in the least surprised at how hard the judges were last night. It's the Finals. Only the best should be there and they should have learned to be much better dancers than they started out.

I think that Len seemed digusted when Helio messed up with his dance steps, the guy is a race car driver, cut his some slack. JMHO

I watched the entire season and never voted once until last night.
I gave all 5 of my Internet votes to Julianne and Helio.

Marie was just awfull.

I feel like Mel B is a great dancer but does that for a living. Helio has come the farthest since the beginning and even though he may not be the best, he sure has come a long way.

Loved Julianne and Helio' freestyle.

She doesn't ballroom dance for a living. Ballroom dancing and pop/hip hop dancing are extremely different. Ballroom dancing requires different postures than what people are normally accustomed to. It also requires the use of different muscles, more intricate steps, lighter footfall and much more body discipline.
Just because someone can pop/hip hop dance well does not mean that they can ballroom dance well.

You might as well have said that she could ballet dance well just because she can pop/hip hop dance well. No comparison between the two.

I tried to vote for Julieanne and Helio but couldn't get through for 25 minutes. When I was finally able to get through, it said voting for my time zone was over.

While I think Marie is entertaining, I DON'T think she should win. I will be happy with either Mel and Maks or Julieanne and Helio.

I'd like private lessons from Derek though!

Why do you think Jonathan went along with this dancing doll idea? Do you think he really thought it was going to be outstanding for the finale? I just can't understand in all the rehearsal that it never occurred to anybody that this was a bad idea.

It looks like they all were set to dance a routine they had done before because Helio's in his banana costume again. I'm so glad Marie is gone.
