I enjoyed the comments from the judges. The 'dancing Hobbit' was really good. I do think they were hard on the better dancers and did go easy on some of those who struggled more. I thought on the whole, they did very good for the first week. I don't think any were as bad as some in the past.
Can't wait to see the ladies...

My musing on last nights show-- Aaron Carter can dance, Ashley Hamilton needs to loosen up and get some rythmn, and one last thing WHY does Tom Delay weat his pants pulled up to his armpits????

i was also puzzled as to why jermaine jackson would be there, and he is certainly free to go wherever he pleases, but i assume it is to call attention to the new tv show he and his brothers are putting together for A&E. aaron carter was the best overall, but i think he needs to concentrate and stop drooling over karina. charm can only get you so far, and he could win if he puts in the effort. i noticed his brother, nick, was in the audience, as well as nick's backstreet boys bandmate, brian littrell. i also thought michael irvin was very charming-LOVED the part where he looked in the mirror and asked himself "michael what were you thinking?" LOL

i think that the jacksons are friends with the osmonds...maybe it was just for support. i thought donnie was really good but has to tone it down a bit,he comes off way to cocky. i dont like that they are doing 3 separate shows this week,now i have to dvr the women tonight so i can watch ncis..

I loooovvvveeee Aaron Carter and I'm super excited that he's putting in the effort and looks like he can actually dance! I just wish he wasn't with Karina. I realllllly don't like her.

About Donny: I'm not sure if I liked him because he can dance, or because it appeared like he could dance. He facial expressions were kind of distracting, yet i suppose that's why he's been in the business for so long... he can sell. I also think he's trying too hard to get on the judges good sides. blahhhh we'll see as time goes on, i suppose.

And then the pro man dance at the very beginning....

Max, tony, derek.... my 3 favorite boys. I can't WAIT for the girls to dance tonight !!! wa-hoo!! Something tells me that I'm going to be surprised with kelly osborne.

Hmm, I missed Macy's bleep.

I feel worse for Maks having Debi Mazur who has ADD of the mouth. Except he seems to be pretty rude to her, telling her to shut up all the time. Still, it must be hard to think & concentrate when you have someone running all over with the mouth when you are trying to create a dance routine.

It's probably your cable provider is "stuck". That happens every once in a while. It's really freaky when a channel gets stuck on a weird picture for a long time. It's very Twilight Zone. It seems like you are peering through a window into some other frozen world or dimension.
