I have to brave the mall as well today!

I did brave the mall today. It was not as packed as I expected. I was able to actually get almost everything done.

Yeah, we're fine.

It was actually in the city-proper that had all the issues.

It was that stupid winter storm that pushed through late Thursday/all day Friday. My road was pure ice so I refused to drive. DH picked me up and took me to dinner for our 7th anniversary. Once we got off our road, everything was fine. I just had no desire to mess with it! Lucky break us getting a late start though... we decided to go to Outback and they'd been out of power all day as well. We got there around 5:45p and there was a sign on the door that they'd reopen at 6p.

Several blocks were without power for over 15 hours. When the wind stopped blowing the power company was able to get everything fixed.

Howdy! Is everyone ready for Christmas? I have so much wrapping to do and I have to work tomorrow. I hope they let me go early so I can get home, make dinner for my side of the family, then spend the rest of the night wrapping.
