Good morning. No school today due to snow.

Oh look 8 days until Christmas and I have done almost no shopping. I've been too sick. Antibiotics make my stomach rotten and I have the feeling of wanting to vomit on and off all day. Great fun, great fun. It's getting a little better.

SadieDog - Have you told your DR that the antibiotic is not agreeing with you? He could put you on to a different AB family that might be better for you. I'm allergic to anything in the Erythromicin family and I throw up when taking that class of AB. I'm fine with most others.

Thanks for asking, but these are the antibiotics that make me the least sick. My body is sensitive. I tolerate Z-pack much better, but that won't kill my sinus infections. This is actually the least sick I have been while on amoxicillin. I have not felt like puking yet today. That's improvement.

Your kids are old enough to be understanding. Just tell them you are letting them live rent free at your house as a Christmas gift.

That's the perfect gift! Yes they will understand. Actually my son said he didn't want anything under the tree, he just wanted us to work on getting 'his' car fixed. (The old '99 Forester) My daughter asked for underwear and a warm winter hat. I think I can manage that. Our tree is a little 21" red thing.

That's funny, my husband's sister wants us to get together on Sunday. We usually do his side on Xmas Eve, but they thought it easier to do Sunday this year. Ahhh, that leaves Xmas Eve free.

....I've watched it 4 or 5 times already and it STILL brings tears to my eyes....the song itself is really gorgeous, no matter WHO sings it, but the part that gets me is the candles in front and all the singers holding up those signs....
