The 'yea' was a sarcastic one. I hate snow. Just watching ABC Nightly News and a highway just a few minutes from me was on the news.

We had snow and a big accident closed the highway. Why that made it newsworthy I have no clue. I'm sure that other places had closed highways due to accidents.

Happy New Year's Eve everyone!! PiO, it must be just about that time down there, huh?! Weird. I've still got a whole day to go before that hour!!

Looks like everyone is doing ok and had a more or less good holiday. I was sick, which leaves me with a bone to pick with Santa because I did NOT ask for the flu this year.

We've got snow on the ground, at least a foot. I'm over it. It can go away now and let's get on with spring, please. I've got my sights set on my next trip to see my dad, which should happen in just about 2 months, so that should get me through the winter, mentally.

Sorry you have been sick. I was sick for a month b/c the antibiotics were also trying to make me as miserable as possible.

Back to the grind today. Blah. The only problem with having so much time off is that it's that much harder to get into going back. Well, thankful to be employed I guess. Kids were also back to school of course and that 6am wake-up was brutal this morning!!

When I woke my son up for school this morning he mumbled 'do I go to school today' He was not impressed with the answer. The kids at work were not too fired up to get out of bed either.
