Cypress Pointe v Cypress Pointe Grand Villas--HELP !!!

Ok, I have seen all the posts on Cypress Pointe and am unclear on one thing. What is the difference between Cypress Pointe and Cypress Pointe Grand Villas???? If you go on hotelkingdom, can you reserve Cypress Pointe or Cypres Pointe Grand Villas. How do you get the best price for either??? Is there a difference between the two??? Are they near each other??? I am sure this topic has been discussed previously, but I haven't seen it yet.

They are directly across the street from each other. We are in building 5 at CP and and 1/2 way between the Volcano pool at CP and the Turtle Pool at CPGV. You can currently use either/or. Best price we have gotten has been from Hotel Kingdom. 2 bedrooms are similar, but layout is different. Check out cypresspointe.net for layouts. CP has been remodeled in the last year. Be sure to do a search - tons of pictures and reviews available. We really like it here - it's our 2nd year in a row.

looks like cp is cheaper and newer. has dvd and broadband. how do i not get a parking lot view?

We requested low floor/no plot view via email a week before checking in. I guess we just got lucky. We are in unit 5108 - corner unit facing a grassy area that is fenced in. It does face the street that Winn Dixie is on but is very quiet.

These resorts are listed seperate on hotelkingdom.com. Cypress Pointe has smaller units, Cypress Pointe Grand Villas are larger particularily the 2nd BR. You can use amenities of both regarless which you are in. They are on opposite sides of quiet service street. Both have been completely refurbished and are great. Stayed in both in Feb this year.

We just returned from the Cypress Pointe Grande Villas. From the exterior, both properties look pretty much the same. However, I've heard that from the interior, the Grande Villas are the better choice. We loved our 2 bedroom in the Grande Villas and I booked it through hotelkingdom.com. We did receive daily calls about attending the timeshare presentation, but they easily took no for an answer. BTW, they will give you $75 Disney dollars for attending their presentation. The location is great for this property!! Traveling to and from Disney was a breeze and the grocery store (Winn Dixie) was just behind the Cypress Pointe property. I would definitely return to this site. You can't beat the price for the location, size of the room and room quality.
