CVS Weekly 5/24-5/30

Are there any GC Coupons out there right now for new prescriptions other than the KMart $10 GC coupon? I know there are RiteAid coupons for transferred prescriptions but I need a coupon for a new Rx.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

There was one in Target's ad this weekend for $10 GC for new or transferred RX.

Another update....looks like they are keeping DH in the hospital for at least a another day or two and continuing the IV antibiotics. The infection appears to have spread down into his foot and back of his leg. They just drew more blood and are going to get more aggressive with the antibiotics. This is just silly that a dumb brush burn could be this serious.....especially since he saw his doctor right away the next morning to get it cleaned and treated. Thank god WE kept pushing for more treatment because who knows what would have happened if I didn't take him to the ER on Friday (his doctor told us to just wait out the weekend and come back Tuesday if it didn't improve, unbelievable!). Needless to say he will not be seeing that doctor anymore!!!!!

Oh, and is it really bad that I was secretly wishing they would send him home with a handful of scripts so I could get the bonus bucks

May his healing go well and here's hoping they got the right antibiotic IV treatments figured out for him so he can come home soon. Six years ago my infection turned into sepsis because I waited too long to seek medical treatment. You absolutely did the right thing pushing for more treatment early on. Pat yourself on the back for taking that stand with the medical professionals!

Found out today that YMMV. One CVS took an ECB from April

but another CVS wouldn't take one that expired 5 days ago

And I did find the Neutrogena, yay!

Wow Puffkin! I'm sorry to hear his infection is so bad. I hope he gets better soon. My DH has heart issues and it's always me that's pushing him to go. It gets so tiring.

Lana Jae, I hope you DD is feeling better. I was thinking of how you said her face looked different. And I was looking at my DDs thinking how strange that would be!

I've been to 5 different stores and no Neutrogena yet! I feel like I'm on a mission to find it. I wonder if the district manager here reads HCW or something and pulled it off the shelves!!!

Went to 4 CVS's for the Neutrogena with no luck. I also found out that DH's card and mine have been linked together somehow, so I couldn't do the deodorant on his card. Weird, since it wasn't a few weeks ago.

I couldn't find the Neutrogena at the one store I made it to today, but I did find Neutrogena Q's for $2 off any FULL SIZE Neutrogena. They were in the back of a little booklet in a cardboard display with the dry mist spray, which was in the makeup dept at this particular store.

Well I checked the 3 CVS's closest to me and no Neutrogena. There are two more in my town I can try, but I am not feeling too hopeful.

On the good side however, I did get alot of fantastic deals this week. Great sales!

Today they had the boxes of toffe/caramel popcorn in a bin for $0.50 I had 2 CRTS for $1 off 2 nuts or GE , so I got 4 boxes free. I did the two small vit c creams, used the $5 off CRT, they were on sale b1g1/2, so that was free, then I used a $2 off ensembles CRT and combined it with two coupons they sent me because my pump broke (free up to $3.99) and got a base and a refill.
total $1.97 oop $4 ecb

First of all.....DH FINALLY got released from the hospital today with strict orders to continue the oral antibiotics, take it easy this weekend and return if the redness starts to spread. What an ordeal

I finally got out to check 3 CVS and no Neutrogena. I have one more to go but not feeling lucky.

Good deal on the Olay Quench Body Lotion(sorry if this was posted earlier!).
$7.50 for 2 (on clearance for $3.75 each)
-2.00 2 $1 mfq. coupons
$5.50 and get back $5 ECB (limit 1). Not a bad deal!!!!

Thanks! And since DH is home and I didn't have to rush over to the hospital tonight....I found the Neutrogena tonight at my last resort CVS It's been a good day!
