CVS ECB deals - Sales for Week 4/29-5/5

When are next weeks deals usually posted? I just started doing CVS deals about 1 1/2 weeks ago. At that time the deals were posted through 5/5. Now we are in that week and no new posts have occurred in the last week and a half. I've checked the other sites that are mentioned in the first post and there's nothing there either.

I'm not complaining, just curious (an anxious!). Where does this info come from when it is posted early?

I didn't want too many CVS threads floating around just in case people start to confuse deals and what weeks what sale, etc. I posted next weeks here: http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1437951

And I am currently trying to get together the deals through the following week as well (alot of the timing depends on when I can get my hands on future dates). When I get the information I try to organize it and add coupon links too if I have time to search all the deals.

OK. I just read an explanation about what "might" be going on with the Garnier deal:
Since there is a monthly deal for the Garnier skincare, any skin care item bought this week is counted for the monthly deal. Any other Garnier item will apply to the Maybelline/Garnier deal.

So, I may try to go back and get another $5.99 of Garnier face care items and see if $5 ECB print out. I think I would need to get another $5 of Garnier (non face care) products or maybelline products and I should get another $5 from that.

OK can somebody walk me thru thsi CVS thing like I'm a child. I have a CVS card thingy on my keychain and they just built a brand spanking new CVS here in town but I have NO idea what I'm doing so HELP please

My garnier purchase didn't give me the $5 either. Is corporate good about working with you...I've never had to call. Anyone have the number to call?

For the 1.99 GUM toothbrushes that are suppose to be FREE, I only received $1 ECB. My mom asked me to get her a pack so I used her card and the same thing only $1.

I also had problems with the Garnier buy $15 and get $5 ECB. I bought 3 products, (2) 5.99 skin and (1) 3.49 haircare. It did not credit me for the 3.49 so the $5 didn't print out. I still got the tote bag but the cashier said to contact cust. serv
The GUM toothbrushes ECB is a problem that everyone is having , I actually went back to the store and the manager gave me the extra in cash.
The garnier issue it may be that sometimes certain products are not included , I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago with a gas x that was on clearance and I didn't know clearance items are not eligible ( so I was told ).

Is there a Revlon deal I missed? On the deals.families board there is a post from a person describing a Revlon deal with $10 EBC. It is posted for this week's deals. Is this old or did I miss it for this week?

No , the $10 ECB Revlon deal is coming the week of May 14th .

I don't think in my case its because the product didn't qualify. I only purchased 3 Garnier items and they all counted. Its just that 1 of the items counted towards the "Garnier" deal and 2 counted towards the "Maybelline/Garnier" deal. I couldn't figure out why it counted this way.

Also, I heard the Revlon deal is only good in California this week.

I don't know , sometimes the way they do things just don't make sense.

Just got off the phone with customer service. A long time on hold...but found out their is a glitch in their system regarding the GUM toothbrushes. If you buy the toothbrush package today (or until they get it fixed) your immediate print out will be for $1. After 48 hours the $.99 will print.
Pretty good trip, I messed up buying Eucerin products though. Customer care said it had to be the products shown on the ad. It doesn't specify that as far as I can tell on the ECB promo -- it says Nivea and Eurcerin products :confused3 . It doesn't say these products or products shown.
I think the more likely problem is that I bought Aquaphor which is a Eucerin product. So, I guess I am returning it and getting other things.

For those who may be just picking this up like me, I just learned that when there is an offer of WYB $X you get $X ECB, it doesn't have to be all at one time (at least according to Customer Service), as long as that is your total during the promo week.

Pretty good trip, though. I found a Listerine which had been out of stock to finish my limit, now 2 instead of 5. I wanted to get my limit on the Oral B tooth brushes, but they were out of stock (they did have the ones that don't qualify, though--already learned that lesson :) After deducting the Eucerin error that I will fix later, I "purchased" over $65 (took advantage of a couple b1g1 and bi get 50% off. I spent $17.50 OOP. I got $18.77 in ECB and will get another $.99 in a couple of days.

I'm loving this...A HUGE thank you to It's a Happy Day for getting this started and putting in so much effort :goodvibes and to all of you who contribute coupons and ideas!

Just looked at my ECB's at the bottom they say "one per customer" . Have they always said this and I am just noticing or is this something new? I will be very unhappy if it is changing so that I can only use 1 ECB per visit. Currently, my store accepts all that I have.

It has always said that. That is what my CVS store points to when they say only one ECB per transaction.

Once in awhile the ad will have fine print that says "must be purchased in one transaction". There was one like this a month or two ago. (Time goes by too quickly I do not remember!)

Customer Service told me to do the following:
Get a raincheck for the amount you need to finish off your limit. I have found the best thing to do is ask for a raincheck for 5 Oral B Pulsar Pro Health Toothbrushes Please (fill in with whatever item you need underlined) - do not say anything about monthly deal, do not refer to the ECB's back, just that there are "none on the shelf, can I get a raincheck". You can go back and purchase the amount on your raincheck - you will have to pay OOP for these. Wait 48 hours and call customer service, explain that your store did not have these items and you used a raincheck for the items, they should then generate an ECB to print on your next trip for the total. If your store is unwilling to give you a raincheck on ECB item have them call customer service while you are in the store and ask what the policy is.

Some people have in the past gotten rainchecks with the price adjusted on the raincheck to the total amount after ECB so in this case free but it seems to be up to the store. Customer Service said the right way is to call them after the transaction and they will fix the problem.

Luckily, with 3 CVS's within 2 miles of my home, I was able to score all of my toothbrushes, toothpaste, and Listerine.
As an added bonus, I perused the trial size aisle and found the CVS brand of laundry detergent, single use packets, for 2/.18. I bought 10 of them and put them right in my Disney box, already packaged in it own ziploc bag. :cool1:

Thank you, Maggie, for the clarifications. :) So, glad to know that I will still be able to use multiple ECB's.
And It's a Happy Day for the Raincheck idea. I don't know, though, I think the clerks there are already getting annoyed with me...this may put them past their limit :rotfl2:

I have a quick question about the CVS pharmacy $25 card. Can I use one per prescription as long as its one per transaction? Is there a limit? I have three prescriptions to fill in the next 24 hours and want to make sure I do this "right". thanks!

There may be more info in small print at the bottom of the coupon. Each CVS seems to set their own rules - some may let you use them all at once and some won't. I think the max is 5 GCs within a one month period. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. :confused3

My garnier purchase didn't give me the $5 either. Is corporate good about working with you...I've never had to call. Anyone have the number to call?

I didn't get my $5 ECB for this offer today either. I bought a Maybelline cosmetic- $8.99 and Garnier Hair product-$6.29. Total before Garnier $1.00 off coupon=15.28.

On the bottom of my receipt it says "Maybelline, spend 15 get 5 EB." Doesn't say anything about Garnier. I wonder if the ad was supposed to be $15 on Maybelline OR Garnier, like one or the other? (Did someone already mention this??)

I have to say though, the CVS I went to ran out of the totes over the weekend, and they were giving out these HUGE canvas totes instead ($14.99 value). The clerk said they were WAY nicer than the free pink ones, and I even got to pick out the style!

Here's my deals for the week:

Garnier and Maybelline as listed above. $1.00 coupon on Garnier, so actual cost for these items=14.28.....+free bag. I will have to check on the $5 back.

Energizer batteries...sale price=$5.29, less $4 EB coupon, actual spent=$1.29

Hemorrhoid cream  $6.79 (came with free trial hem. wipes)
Hem. wipes $5.99 -$3.00 off when another Prep-H product purchased. Total cost=$2.99

TOTAL before coupons=$33.26
Minus coupons CVS and man.=$25.26
Minus $10 ECB & $2 ECB (my CVS only takes 2 at a time)...
Grand total OOP= $13.67.....not bad.

So does anyone have the number for CVS corporate?

I've heard that the deal listed as "Garnier" on the receipt is actually the monthly Garnier skin care deal. The deal listed as "Maybelline" is the weekly deal that is in this weeks ad with the free tote.

ALTHOUGH, if you buy a skin care item (selected varieties), it will be applied towards the monthly deal. If you buy other Garnier products, it will be applied toward this week's deal (the Maybelline one).

I am going to run by CVS tonight to see if I purchase another item that qualifies for the weekly deal will give me the $5 ECB.

Maggie

Just back from my daily raid, er, trip to CVS. Not great but Here's my booty:

2 All 100oz. detergent B1G1 free = $6.99
2 Oral B Pulsar ProHealth toothbrushes = $11.94
Total $18.93 = tax

Minus $3 off $15, $4 ECB, 2 $.50 All coupons

Grand total $10.91 & paid w/ a GC I got last week with a prescription so it was FREE! AND I got back $11.94 in ECB for the Oral B toothbrushes.

I have a quick question about the CVS pharmacy $25 card. Can I use one per prescription as long as its one per transaction? Is there a limit? I have three prescriptions to fill in the next 24 hours and want to make sure I do this "right". thanks!

The GC coupon states limit 1 per transaction so you would have to buy 1 at a time. Also states that you can use the same coupon up to 5 times.
