CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 2/24/08-3/01/08

I found 2 packs of travel size Huggies wipes with Christmas designs on them and thought they would be clearance priced but they rang up at regular price so I put them back. I thought I had found a bargain! We love these for the car.

Last week was a crummy week for me. I was going to do my cvs runs friday evening...but, well...I ended up in the ER all night! I was diagnosed with Severe Tension Migraine. I've gotten migraines before, but man, never like this!! Bad weekend for me.....but it was nice to discover that I had some Excedrin Tension Headache in my stash!

And I swear that while I was in there, I saw my favorite CVS shift supervisor being escorted through by a police officer! I am seriously going to ask him when I see him....

Thank goodness there weren't many deals I wanted to do. I was going to do the ziploc deal and the kleenex deal, but can live without them.

So sorry to hear this, I get aseptic meningitis several times a year (autoimmune disease) and I imagine it's similar. Did they give you anything that worked?

Too weird about your shift supervisor, my guess is DWI and blood test. Might not be back to work very soon..

If you need any extra Excedrin, let us know quick before we send it all to LanaJae for her Excedrin Art Project... :flower3:

ROFL!!! I wonder if each capsule for each type is a different color like the boxes are. I do have lots of Elmer's Glue from Target's school supply sale last fall..

 Ooh.....are you ok now?

I only use the Excedrin Migraine ones - those are either solid white or white/green. Don't you have any food coloring or marker deals? Ooooh how about different colored toothpastes....

 Ooh.....are you ok now?

Psst, flakypuff. Got the coupons yesterday. THANKS! :)

Tresemme is working great, print the coupon today because it'll disappear tomorrow (but might work for 2 weeks): http://a676.g.akamaitech.net/f/676/...content/CVS/Coupons/02212008/ec_tresseme.html

I bought one 1.99 hair spray at store #1, used $2 coupon
I bought one 1.99 hair spray and 3 bottles of the conditioner for $4.69 at store #2, used $2 coupon and $5/15 Tresemme CRT, received $5 ECB
I bought one 1.99 hair spray at store #3, used $2 coupon, received $5 ECB

This combination is $20.04 of Tresemme, give $10 ECBs and the coupons total $11. It only works well if you have the $5/15 CRT for Tresemme.

I got the BEST deal ever! The soft robes they had at Christmas are $1.99 now, 90% off. Run tonight to get them.

Would toothpaste work like glue? Could be pretty. Extra Care Art :rotfl2:

So I post this deal about Preparation H travel wipes in the middle of the night last night and slept in this morning... wouldn't you know, not one store out of 4 had any!

I'm not sure! They gave me Percocet...which made my blood pressure drop too far, too fast and they had to bring it back up. It was 80/40 at one point. I can't remember what else they gave me. My mom was the one who took me. I've been laying down almost all weekend. My head feels almost normal. I'm fine unless I have to blow my nose or I cough, then my head pounds. They gave me Reglan and told me to take that with Ibuprofen. I can't take Ibuprofen because it bothers my stomach. Although I guess my tummyache would be better than the tension migraine. So I haven't taken the Reglan yet because the Reglan is for nausea. But I did get a CVS $30 gift card when I had it filled! :thumbsup2 :lmao: Though it's not nearly as fun having to go to CVS at 2am as it is to go at normal times. The prescription was only $10, so even if I end up not using any of it, I still made money, lol. I don't remember a whole lot about my 6...yes 6...hours in the ER. Apparently I was trying to be funny with my dr. (funny, as in, a comedian), which my mom told me later.

If I don't see the shift supervisor....I'm going to ask my favorite cashier, who works at that store. I think he's late 50s, early 60s (cashier, not super) and I think he wants to adopt me!

I can confirm that they come in solid white, white/green and the tension headache ones come in a shiny red! So you've got Christmas and Valentine's Day covered.

Depends on who you ask. :teeth:

But overall, yes...much better. I'm at about 80% right now. I still get the throbbing if I move too suddenly (like cough or sneeze). And my neck still feels tight. My doctor told me to return to work in 3 days (from my release, which was sat morning), so I'm staying home tomorrow. Even if he hadn't said that, I don't think I'd be up for going out tomorrow and driving to work. I may have to be brave and venture out tomorrow night because I think I have an ECB that expires tomorrow. :rotfl2:

 I hope you are felling better! My mom suffers from really bad migranes. I have only had one (brought on by high blood pressure after I had DS#2) and it was worse than childbirth!

I love the Excedrin Tension Headache! I usually use it in the afternoon at work when I hit that brick wall at about 3pm. The caffeine in it really picks me up for that last hour/hour and a half. I used to take the Migrane formula but I find that I am sometimes sensitive to the aspirin it it. The tension headache is the exact same formula minus the aspirin.

Yikes on the percoset! I quit going to the hospital when it happens to me because they do a spinal draw and that's worse than anything. I hope it's over for good now, sometimes a virus can do that to you too so I hope that's what it was.

Glad you got the gift card, it's kinda like getting a toy from the clinic when you get a shot :)

To both you and Clarabelle....

Please send me some Poise! (I am laughing too hard)

Thanks!

Just a tidbit of info for ya that I learned from a pharmacist. The Extra Strength Excedrin and the Excedrine Migaine are exactly the same thing. If you look at the active ingredients, they are both Acetaminophen 250mg, Aspirin 250mg and Caffeine 65mg. The only reason one is marketed as "migraine" is because they include information about migraines in the inserted information packet. So if you know of anyone who uses one, they can use the other! And if they are different prices, get the cheaper one.

I've had migraines before....but never a tension migraine and never anything this bad. It started out with eye floaters earlier in the day, so now I know what to watch for!

Yeah...stupid me, i started reading stuff on the internet yesterday and today about migraines, symptoms and treatments. I read a little about spinal taps! :scared1:  :crazy2:

sorry for posting so much tonight - but also on the Tresemme thing above - there was a monthly deal (hidden?) starting 3-1-08 for a $5 ECB wyb $15 too. I saw a sign and a display for it.

I wonder if they put the $5 ECB wyb $10 Tresemme for this week because it'll interfere with the monthly deal?

I really wonder what will happen next Saturday if both deals are working! I don't have another $5/15 CRT to test it.
