CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 1/20/08-1/26/08

Thanks!! I am new at this, and copied your first 2 transactions to start up my ECBs. I have been trying to figure it all out and I am off to a good start thank to everyones help!
Just don't know yet what I will do with all those M&Ms

I really like these suggested transactions, in fact, the 2nd one is exactly what I bought today - the only problem is, you need some filler item or you won't have enough to use the $9 ECB (it comes up 3 cents under and it's not a sure thing that your cashier will adjust down). Here's what I did:
4 bags Valentine Plain M&Ms, 14 oz. $3.49 B1G1 Free
1 Mennen 24/7 Speed Stick, $3.99
1 Cadbury Mini eggs (filler), $0.65
-----------------------------------------
Total was about $11
Less $2/$10 CVS printable
Less $9 ECB (from having previously bought 6 bags of M&Ms)
oop = $0.62+$0.04 tax
Received $6 ECB for M&Ms, $3.99 ECB for Mennen

I tend to waste the $.03 vs adding something else, if it is around $.25 or less I would rather waste it and probably should if it is closer to $.50. I don't want the candy bars but will eat them if I buy them. I alot add the cvs car wipes for $.99 but that really isn't a bargain at all, and I use them simply since I have them.

how many m&m deals caan you get? I wasnt sure if there was a limit on the xtra care bucks..Also, I see many are buying the Dawn..besides that it is on sale is there also a coupon or xtra care bucks with that?

There is a coupon for the Dawn AND its part of the P&G ECB deal.

I forgot to use my coupon (very odd of me) for the dawn, but I buy 4 tides and need then $.04 cents to hit the $20 mark so always get the dawn.

I think m&m's is 10 total bags.

Does anyone know about the speed stick? I thought it was limit 5. I had 3 bogo coupons, so got 6, 2 on one order and 4 on the other, but my ECB printed for all 6 but my deal says only 4 bought. I am so thoroughly confused with that one and cannot figure it out.

Is the m&m's monthly? I can't decide if I want more then 2 bags.

Thank you for the link. I was asked to download the coupon printer and I did so but it just keeps going to the download page and the coupons won't print . Anyone know why this is happening?

I am loving CVS, I think I am getting the hang of it. Earlier in the week went for 2 transactions (thanks for the advice) and between both paid $3.04 and saved $125

Today I went back and got my last 3 deodorants, 4 bags of M&M ( and some fake nails on clearance)
used a $4/$20
and $16 ECB from soyjoy and paid

.44 OOP and received almost $18 new ECB

I was so HAPPY!! Thanks to everyone for all the posts/examples they finally helped me, it only took 3 tries

Just an FYI in case anyone is doing the soyjoy deal. I needed 2 more so today grabbed 1 apple (had never seen it before) and 1 coconut mango, but the apple did not count towards the deal. It also rang up $.97 vs $1 on sale. I returned it and got another coconut and my ECB printed out.

YMMV on this. People have reporting this all week on HCW, but I bought some apple ones a few days ago and they rang up $1 and I got the ECBs for them. Though, the manager did tell me that the apple ones were being discontinued. I would suggest just asking for a price check on them before buying if you want the apple.

That's interesting. I put my 20 soy joys out for my students. The last 3 were apple! I wondered if they tasted the worst?? It seemed the favorite was the purple one.

Many cashiers won't give you that option, they make you buy something more. Happens most times for me, happened today, so I already had the candy ready. You're right, I'd rather waste that 3 cents than buy a candybar (which is higher priced than other stores).

It's usually your firewall or virus software stopping it from working and the settings are hard to figure out to allow it to run. Some people have better luck using the Firefox browser for downloading, installing and using the software.

You are only supposed to be able to use 1 per value pack as it is 1 UPC code but some people have used and been able to get the clerk to push through additional Q's - not technically correct though.

I love this thread. You have all inspired me to get back to CVSing. As I have said before, my DH gets scared when ever he enters a CVS with me. He always thinks I'm going to get arrested or something. Well last night I asked him to meet me at the store after work and his first response was "do I have to, you scare me". We did very well. I don't have the receipt because DH was so shocked at the grand totals he had to take them to work and show off. He likes me now!

I'm sure there was more but can't remember. Before coupons my total was $86.??

After Mfg/Walgreens/ECBs/CVS printables my grand total oop was $2.12. Plus, we each got back $27.00 in ECB and another $10/50.
Gotta love it.

SMP = Specially Mark Package

There is a sticky on some of the packages. I actually had already purchased mine from a coupon site. It's a rebate persay.
The deal was buy a $15 combination of Pepsi and Frito Lay products and they will send you $15 in coupons.

So, the CVS deal was spend 20 get 10 back = $10 now - the $15 in coupons from Pepsi. They are paying you $5 to take it away is how I see it.

I hope this made sense.
