CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 1/20/08-1/26/08

I forgot that one of my stores sells milk.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE buying our gallons of skim milk from CVS. Not only is it a little less expensive than our two supermarkets in town (CVS price = $3.69, local supermarket brands = $3.99-$4.29) but it's Garelick, which is a name brand. I have never once had a problem with freshness and the expiration dates are far out. Milk makes a SUPER way to use ECBs when there's not much else to spend it on (no diapers or prescrips. here and we are well covered in toothpaste, shampoo, razors, toilet paper, etc) and milks make good fillers to use a $2/$10 or $4/$20 or $10/$50 coupon!!!

This week has been a great week to buy milk if you happened to also have the "Buy 4 Nabisco cookies/Post Cereals, Get a Gallon of Milk (up to $4) free" manufacturer's coupon.

Several different Post cereals are B1G1 free, so I bought 8 boxes of cereal for the price of 4 and got 2 gallons of milk free (there's also a $1/2 cereal coupon in the CVS diabetes book). Combined this with enough other things to use the $10/$50 CVS printable, and it was great!

I've also bought OJ once or twice (Tropicana cartons) but it tends to be pretty high priced.

Well I wil be calling CS Monday morning. I bought my 3rd Sambucol toaday in order to roll some ECBs and that one did not print. I have not had problems with the other 2.

-$9.99 manufacturers coupon for Monitor #1
-$9.99 CVS coupon from Diabetes book for Monitor #2
Total OOP = .00

I got back $19.98 in ECB from this! These were my first monitors this month. There was one more but I left it and was going to go back through in another transaction because the CVS coupon said "limit 1 per customer". But some guy came in and bought it in the mean time!!

Overall not a bad day. I started with $16 ECB, spent $3.80 and have $22 ECB (or I will after the $5 ECB prints).

Went in to CVS today to return an eye pencil that I thought was 75% off but wasn't , and stood in line behind a woman who bought over a hundred dollars worth of whatever, and DIDN"T HAVE A CVS CARD!

The clerk was like, you know, you'd save over 30 dollars on this purchase alone if you had a card, and the woman was like, oh, I don't care.

Typical me, I couldn't keep my mouth shut and I said "the cards are really good!" and the clerk said, "I'll run my card through for you, I can't stand to see all that money go to waste."

The woman looked at the two of us like we were *completely* bonkers

I should have received $5 for the P&G deal and $2 for the Softsoap. I did get the Softsoap ECB but not the P&G one!! I talked to the manager and she said that someone else just had a problem with it too and I should call 1800ShopCVS to have them credit it.

I would have had the manager issue you a gift card. I know what they can issue them if you call, but the gift card doesnt expire had that happen with my pg deal today- had 2 bounty, 1 tide, 3 dawns should have been

showed the manager my receipt- course he was standing there ruining all of my luck (see other thread)..and it had those 6 things listed, with the correct price, then at the bottom it said "total earned 15.96"... he knew it was wrong, so the issued me the gift card.

2 transactions ahead of that one, was just the sambucol, it rang up right, but didnt print- he was standing there for that one too, and issued me a $10.00 gift card

Is the softsoap P&G? Assuming not since it had it's own ECB. I am thinking you are a couple of pennies short, would need to throw another puffs on there. Quick , RUN back!

I have to buy one more thing to get my PG 5.00 and I still have to get SOY Joy (cant find them in 3 stores). I just want to make sure I still have time. Also, I didn't know you could get another card in the same household. My DH card numbere is they same as my card

The deoderant deal (Speed stick 24/7) and the P&G deal are weekly. So you better finish the P&G deal tonight! The Soy Joy is monthly.

Yep, I would be calling. I hate calling, they act like they are doing you a favor by doing what is right! I had to call two weeks ago because the lady didn't take off my $2 excedrin coupon, that was the whole reason I bought it! Customer care was like I'll print you out $2 ECB as a courtesy. I was thinking courtesy, what!

The Mennen 24/7 Speed Stick and the P&G deals end today. I sometimes have problems with ECBs printing out on Saturdays as the new weeks deals are usuallly entered into the computer early. As for the Soy Joy, have you checked the diet aisle? I was just picked up 20 at my local store tonight. As for another card, you can get another one but I would use your cell phone number for the number associated with that card (just in case you ever have to pull it up by phone number )

I believe the BOGOF ends tonight, but the $3 ECB is monthly.

It might be the Tide, but it fell in the correct "load count". It was 32 loads or whatever the high limit was on the ad. But I wondered since it was HE. But it rang up on sale, so it should be included??

I did two different runs tonight.

The first was 20 Soy Joys - used my freebie coupons and paid 25 cents (ya VA cheap tax on food!) OOP for tax and got the $20 ECB. I forgot my other envelope of coupons and I was flustered or I would of added $4 of something and used the $4 off of $20 coupon. Oh well!

After a quick stop home I did the P&G deal. I am now the proud owner of 20 bottles of Dawn, a box of puffs, a manual razor and 2 2-liters of Pepsi. I used a $5 off of $30, 15 ECB, $10 of dawn coupons, $2 razor coupon and paid $1.41 OOP ($1.34 of that was tax on the coupons).
