CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 1/20/08-1/26/08

;-) actually, I think the cookies give me bigger HIPS! ha -

School parties coming up -- I'm all for the cookies made with FREE M&M's!!

I was just about to post and say that I believe I already have chocolate hips. These come from eating too much chocolate because you have gotten hundreds of bags of it free from CVS in the last few months. :rolleyes1

Hello CVS queens:rotfl:

I would like someone to layout a good "plam" for me to get started with this. I already have a CVS card and received a $4 off $20 coupon via email today, but I don't have any Soyjoy or other coupons people are mentioning. I "think" I may have 2 in ECBs. What would be a good "list" for this week to get this thing started??? I have a 7 month old in diapers but we use Pampers.....and we always need toiletries...
Can anyone help:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

The main manager at Colonial Heights seems to be a nice lady but I don't really know many of the others.

The one near the hospital has some really good people and some that are not so good. They have a new lady workin there. She seems to be nice. I hope she took the place of the young manager. She always gives me a hard time.

When I started I started with about a $30 transaction and then went from there. IF I was starting a new card or recommending someone (and they had what you have and nothing else) I would say GO TOMORROW & do something like:

$20 = 20 Soyjoy bars (price check Apple if your getting them and make sure $1 not $0.97)
-4/20 coupon
-2 ECB you already have

= $14 you pay out of pocker (OOP) *so a moneymake without using any mfg coupons!*

you will get back a $20 ECB

Then get
10.47 = 6 bags of M&M's B1G1F
7.98 = 2 Mennen Deodorant
5.98 = CVS toothbrush with tongue cleaner
= 24.43 (no tax included)
-4/20 printable (link is in this thread)
-20 ECB from above

= OOP even with tax around $1 if that :confused3

Get back $9 M&M's, $7.98 Mennen, $5.98 CVS TB = 22.96

You just spent $16 (including the initial $2 ECB you had) and now have basically $23 so you are making money! :woohoo:

Too funny! I'm still buying milk at the grocery store and I don't know why!

oh i'm so mad - i went in thinking i'd "stack" coupons and they wouldn't let so i wound up spending 10.00 oop as i didn't have a back up plan

deodarant 3.99 x3
m&m 3.49x4 b1g1
2 pks pudding 1.00 each

so even though i got back almost 18.00 bucks in ecb's i paid w/8ecbs used a 4/$20 and 10.00 oop!!!!!!

oh well i'll plan better and won't plan on stacking...........

I forgot that one of my stores sells milk.

I don't know why I don't do this because the kids go through 6 gallons a week, somehow I think the milk is fresher at the grocery store. I bought some at Walgreens once when I had a $5/20 coupon and the kids said it tasted funny (even though dates were good for another 8 days). It's funny what gets stuck in your head.

Well,
I forgot to check the apple ones and they did ring up as .97 and my store only had 16 bars total, so that is what I purchased. I guess I need 4 more bars to get the $20 ECB?? I will have to say that the bars are fairly tasty and my 3 yr old likes them :rotfl:

Even without the 20 ecb, i only spent 16 oop for all of the above you suggested plus milk and some cottanels that also had an ecb..

so thank you so much for getting me started!!!:woohoo:

oh, and the ECBs that printed are like cash, correct? I can use several of them at once??

Did you get any ECBs for the Soy Joys you purchased? Were they all apple? You should get $4 in ECBs for every 4 you buy. If you got all apple at 97 cents, I would return them as you won't get any ECBs, even if you bought 4 more (although you'd get $4 for another flavor). This apple thing is really messing people up.

ECBs are like cash and you should be able to use them all in a single purchase; however, you should at least have an equal number of items to not cause register insanity (equal number for ECBs and CVS coupons, doesn't count for mfg. coupons). A shift-lead or supervisor can push them through though. Personally, I do everything I can to avoid having to have a shift-lead come up and scan their card. If the register acts up, I say, "forget that one (coupon), lets try this instead."

Any coupon or ECB (I think! - might be wrong for other areas) over $15 will require the shift-lead card scan.

I forgot to add that we have heard of stores telling people that they can only use one ECB on a transaction. This is always wrong and you can call CVS Corp. and they will call the store and tell them they are like cash and they must take them (excluding items like gift cards, tobacco, stamps, etc.)
