cuttlebug disney embosing folders and dies

I don't have any of the other embossing ones:scared:

I have only had my cuttlebug for a couple weeks

CUTE!!!

I like the other embossing folders because you can ink them after, the embossing is deep...same with the Disney ones?

I just did the pooh cut and emboss and the embossing on it is as deep as on the other embossing folders. I am not ready to take a post a picture but yes the embossing is thick- I could easily ink the top or color it in.

I got the Pooh cut and embossing and the Pooh and Tigger Embossing folders today at AC Moore.

I got them yesterday, too! I haven't used them yet, but I'm looking forward to it!! Now, if only Cricut would make a Pooh cart. . .pooh:

I would buy that so fast- I don't know that I would be able to wait until the price came down.

I got some today and WHOO were they expensive! I got 4 of the embossing folder sets and 6 of the combo sets... and after 20 bucks off and 20% off my remaining items, it still came to $137!!!! *I got 2 zig pens also*

Anyway, I made this with the Mickey and the travel pieces:

Sorry if it's too huge!

I found it a bit frustrating that you have to get the "accessories" seperately and that they cost so much, but hey it didn't stop me from loading up! :D

That is soooo cute GBShorts! Love them. They will go on my list on my BAN-free shopping days.

Awesome awesome awesome

I am going to get them all, but I think I will get them one at a time with 40% off coupons

I know! I told DH that I was hoping one would come out in February (after CHA). He said, "And we'll just try to pre-order it then, right?" :lovestruc

OHHHHHH...duh!!! I couldn't figure out what you meant by "he can hold things"... That is sooooo cute!!

Thanks for checking on the ink-a-bility. I love the other folders, and have used them for swaps and cards. They are really nice!!

thanks laurafaith--I just ordered the cuttlebug from creative express for $35 and the minnie die.. I can't wait to get my new toy and play with it.

Oh my gosh! I want whatever it is that makes these. Could someone explain what I would need? (I'm guessing a machine plus some kits?) I am working on my first Disney scrapbook and just decided last night that I need some embellishments of some sort, but I don't really like the way the stickers look. This would be so much better.

This is from a machine called the Cuttlebug. It's a hand-turned rolling press sort of deal that embosses and cuts.

You'll need to purchase:

1. a cuttlebug
2. any dies/embossing folders you want
3. replacement blocks (in the future)

It's pretty easy to use, actually, you just sandwich the blocks, paper, and die or folder and then run them through with a hand crank (if you know what an Ellison Letter Press is you're golden).

I know CreativeExpress.com has the cuttlebug on sale for 35 right now or you can take your chances with a coupon at Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Jo-Ann Fabric, AC Moore, Roberts, or many other craft stores that may be out there (and LSS's). CreativeExpress's price is the lowest I've seen by far though. I paid 55 for it with a 40% off coupon at J's for my sister-in-law for Christmas so 35 is a great deal!

The Disney folders just recently came out so you might have a bit more of a time finding them. Trust that soon, everybody will have them. Our Hobby Lobby already has the hang tags up for them!

Hope that helps (enables)!

Does anyone know if these work in sizzix big kick? I really do not want to have to purchase another machine but I LOVE these!

Other Cuttlebug dies & folders work in my BigKick, so I would guess these do too. I do need to shim it a little, but it's not a hardship.

I went to ACMoore today...I thought they were on sale there...no? Well, not...and no coupon, so no dies for me...

They had them though, and I almost bought Pooh (didn't have Tigger), but I put him back...

Went to acmoore today for something and they had them - a ton of them (I didn't look too long for fear of overspending). I just won't buy anything like that without a coupon though. I got the mickey one and came right home and tried it in my regular old sizzix with the sizzlets press thing on it and it was awesome! I think it would be cool to have something set up for the little dies maybe (I dunno) so was wondering if anyone knows if this works in the sidekick? It was 49 at ACM and with a 40% coupon (I printed extras and used one for the mickey today) it's only $30 but I'm not sure I need it - I'd ask for my bday if that were the case - just wondering if anyone has any thoughts......
