Oh my gosh! I want whatever it is that makes these. Could someone explain what I would need? (I'm guessing a machine plus some kits?) I am working on my first Disney scrapbook and just decided last night that I need some embellishments of some sort, but I don't really like the way the stickers look. This would be so much better.
This is from a machine called the Cuttlebug. It's a hand-turned rolling press sort of deal that embosses and cuts.
You'll need to purchase:
1. a cuttlebug
2. any dies/embossing folders you want
3. replacement blocks (in the future)
It's pretty easy to use, actually, you just sandwich the blocks, paper, and die or folder and then run them through with a hand crank (if you know what an Ellison Letter Press is you're golden).
I know CreativeExpress.com has the cuttlebug on sale for 35 right now or you can take your chances with a coupon at Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Jo-Ann Fabric, AC Moore, Roberts, or many other craft stores that may be out there (and LSS's). CreativeExpress's price is the lowest I've seen by far though. I paid 55 for it with a 40% off coupon at J's for my sister-in-law for Christmas so 35 is a great deal!
The Disney folders just recently came out so you might have a bit more of a time finding them. Trust that soon, everybody will have them. Our Hobby Lobby already has the hang tags up for them!
Hope that helps (enables)!
