Customized Magic Band Album, Tips and Pictures, please read first page before posting

After a few tries I finally got my band the way I want it. At first I put the tattoos on the band when it was its original pink color but the tattoos didnt stand out as much as I wanted. Then I tried to paint the band a pale pink but that didnt work well since I used the pink that came with a french manicure set which meant the pink was too sheer. Finally I used the white nail polish that came with the manicure kit. I got the tattoo kit at WalMart (they had a few different sets).

My husband also decorated his band. He used some of the scrapbooking stickers I had in my Disney stash. He used a small picture of Jafar's head (but trimmed it to get rid of the white border around it). He has covered the stickers with a clear base coat and will probably add a few more coats.

I decorated these over the weekend for my family's upcoming trip. I used vinyl that I cut with my Silhouette machine (like a Cricut).

Just finished them!! We've got tons of colors already and we're getting more for our next resort stay at the end of June, so I decided to just GO for it! Here are the three designs I went with... I can't wait to try more!

I posted a "How-To" on my blog, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post it here, so I just went with the pictures! I think I'm gonna try out the rub-ons or the temporary tattoos next!

I did not use a base coat on one. These Frozen tattoos I used white nail art polish underneath:

Snowflake nail art stickers + glitter make up the snow swirl with some silver polish for the portrait outline. I made sure to glitter up the snowflakes around Elsa's head. I made the mistake of adding Anna before I closed the band (had already started the hole-side with snow). Always close the band first! Heh. I did that with the PotC band, too. You'd think I'd have learned.

This is supposed to be sleeping beauty's crown. It was harder to do when I thought! It's all nail art crystals and nail art gold embellishments. The polish is a pink glitter polish and it is over a pink MB. I need to clean up the edges a bit but I like it!

Finally done with our bands. I know that they are not perfect which is driving me crazy but my DD love them. ( hopefully the pic shows up this is my 1st attempt).

After painting and then re-painting my band 3 times, I finally settled on this. The gold is my favorite because it catches the light really well.

Knew that no one out there but you all on this thread would get it, but we were thrilled that the hotel we stayed at the night before we got to WDW came equipped with a special Magic Band drying rack! Who knew!!!!

Mine is Cheshire cat- which will go well with my 2 (!) Cheshire cat shirts on our trip. I guess I know what colors I'm getting for my mani-pedi tomorrow. Heh. I used purple, yellow, white, and black nail art pens and dark pink polish with matte topcoat. I put matte topcoat over dh's Darth Maul band also. Looking back I think that the PotC would have looked better with matte as well. Ah well. If we get new bands for APs then I'll re-do them.

This is my jungle themed pink band. I used acrylic paints and two coats of acrylic sealer. I may put one more coat on. I tried to scratch it with my fingernail a little and it seems pretty good, but I'm sure I could scratch it with something if I really tried.

Hi everyone! I had three bands to decorate, one from my November trip, one for my AP, and one for my July trip. I used two coats of clear polish and white nail polish under the temporary tattoos. I would definitely recommend the white nail polish, especially on the darker bands (the first tattoo I tried on the blue band didn't show up). Mine definitely aren't as clean as some of the amazing ones on here but I am happy with them!
