Here is DD7's MB. She decided where everything went and I glued everything on. The small princess charms are stickable earrings that I glued on. I bought a bunch of temp tattoos and the only one she wanted was the small one of the fairies.

Here is my Figment. I am not artistic at all and I'm still not real happy with his snout/mouth but I don't want it to be worse. The rest of the band I just used a glitter nail polish with hearts in it. I am having an issue of the base coat I used cracking on the grey part. I'm going to let it dry for a day and see what happens when I close it up again. 10 more days! I can't wait.

I have a couple to add. Two down, two to go for our upcoming trip.

Animal:

And mine, sort of a tie-dye blended effect.

Animal and the main part of the blended band were done entirely in acrylic craft paints. For the blended effect I just painted wide stripes and then smudged them together with my finder, which gave a neat texture and mixed the colors at the transition to give a turquoise between the green and blue and purple between the blue and pink. The border on the yellow band is glow-in-the-dark Tulip t-shirt paint. I've sealed them with a matte acrylic sealer and they feel fairly durable so I have high hopes for how they'll hold up in the parks.

Got ours done! Except DH (the blue one) need to put the base coat on and paint the Mickey head a few more coats with the lime green.

DD Magic band (we ordered her a pink one and also took the grey wrap off since she needs it extra small)

Here are some of the supplies I picked up at Michaels for mine and DD bands. These worked GREAT, I just cut/trimmed the rhinestone strips to the length/width I needed.

The blue & purple polishes were the Sinful Colors brand, hot pink was a very small bottle I picked up at Sallys, the lime green, silver and the base coat were also from Sallys I believe they were the Fingerpaints brand? The silver looks really good, almost holographic.

Okay, so I have no artistic ability, which means I asked one of my amazing friends to do mine for me :) And I LOVE IT!!!!!! :) I can't wait to wear it

I had a blue Magic Band, we used nail polish and paint brushes on it. I haven't used it yet, so I can't speak to the cracking problem. She painted it while it was closed and not flat. We used blue sparkly polish on the band, and some bubbles on the sides. I am so excited to use it pixiedust:

There are some amazing MBs in here! Love seeing all your ideas :D

For our first set we just went with something simple, glittery nail polish and a UV top coat over our Mickey heads. It worked fab and showed up on all the rides with the lighting. We stayed in Pop for four days and got so many compliments from CMs at the resort and park for our bands.

We're back at Christmas time so plan to do something a bit more fitting to the time of year!

Well I have finally finished both set of MBs for our upcoming trip in May n our AP holders ones. The red was a bit harder because of the dark color n DD wanted a specific character.

I yet again used temporary tattoos with base coat polish.

These are all of the MBs I've decorated for our past and future trips since MB testing started last year. Idk but I'm sure these won't be the last ones I'll get to decorate.

Here is my Malificent MagicBand

and on my wrist

It's originally a red MagicBand I painted purple (Planks A Lot - which is a Disney OPI colour from the Pirates of the Caribbean collection), and then used paint for the rest of the band...oh and I used a sharpie for the facial features as my brush wasn't thin enough for those lines. I burnt the right side of the band when I adhered Swarovski crystals around the Mickey head at Christmas time. :rotfl2: It looks much nicer covered up with paint though!

From Blah Blue, to Polynesian themed! Someone on this thread mentioned decorative duct tape. Before reading that I never knew one existed! I think these are perfect for our Poly trip coming up (in 24 days!!!). I am no artist, so a roll of tape and a box cutter worked out pretty well!

I used 2" duct tape.

IMAGE_1563.jpg">

pressed MB in the tape (smoothed out lumps and bumps by stretching).

IMAGE_1564.jpg">

Used my nail to find outline of the colored part of MB.

Box cutter to follow the outline.

Even if it does not hold up well in heat and water (though it is Duct tape, which is pretty tough!), it peels off easily.

Hope that is helpful! Amazon has a ton of choices.

Trying this again...hope I get it right this time. I had to go on several threads and leave posts just to get to number 15.

If the pictures don't show up, someone please help. I was following the directions on the technical assistance page.
