The last three times we stayed at deluxes with a great rate with AP passes...AK, CR and WL. Just wonderering what your thoughts are on these resorts. Looking for a vacation getting up early hitting the parks then coming back and enjoying the good weather and pool. I know already what my kids enjoy. We love the character dinners and breakfasts!

CSR is the closest to deluxe of all the mods and values. It really all depends on the theming you prefer.

THE PROS
No sharing bus service with other resorts
Centrally located with short rides to the parks
Largest hot tub on WDW property
Awesome main pool area with bar, snack bar, playground and kiddie pool
3 quiet pools
New shuttle service eliminates long walks to any of the villages
High speed internet service
WiFi available too
Free use of the gym
Spa
Fridge in the room
Coffeemaker in the room
Iron and ironing board
full room service menu
2 arcades
beautifully landscaped
central air, not a noisey wall unit

THE CONS
Full size beds (kings size beds are available)
one sink

IN THE MIDDLE
The Pepper Market is either a love it or hate it place. We love it but some folks just don't care for it.

Convention resort - some guests don't like seeing other guests at work. Doesn't bother us and helps keep the buses empty. GF, Cont, BW, Y & B Club are also convention resorts.

We preferred CSR over CBR.....but then we live at the beach so we see that kind of themeing all over town.
CSR - for whatever reason - didn't seem as spread out to me, but I know it was because of our location....I really loved the lobby - everything was gorgeous!

All Star Sports is fine, but may be a letdown after staying in a deluxe.

Of the two moderates that you mention, I prefer CSR over CBR. I like the theming and pool better. It also seems quieter than CBR. Put me among those who like the Pepper Market.

I agree with above in that CSR is wonderful and Buzz hit everything right on the nose. CBR is beautiful as fairly similiar in size to CSR but IMO CSR does have more to offer.

What Buzz said! I've stayed at both and will be back at CSR in Sept. You won't go wrong at either of them but I do prefer CSR for all of the above reasons.

One critique I constantly hear is the distance and I have to admit that has never bothered me. One of the delights of the resort is walking around the lake at night. I only used the PM for takeout last time but I thought it fine.

I highly recommend CSR.

We loved CSR when we were there in April. Ditto all the Buzz said. :sunny:
