Has anyone been there since they reopened with the new menu? We’ve never been there before, but are really tempted with the new menu. Also does anyone know the price? It just gives a range and I want to plan accordingly.

I have not been there, but I watched 2 YouTubers review the new menu and they all loved their food. They said price was $39-40 (one said $39 and one said $40, I assume the 2nd was rounding up). I highly suggest the YouTube videos because they showed desserts and all! Very helpful. One was by Molly on AllEars and I believe it was called Are These Disney World Restaurants Still As Good As Before They Closed?

I’ve been there a few times in the past few years. Not a fan anymore. It was solely for the character experience. I would definitely not like it now that the buffet is gone. For that price, I’d hop a boat over to WL and hit Whispering Canyon Cafe. You will not be disappointed and it’s the same price if not cheaper.

Am I correct, that it is still not open for breakfast?
Correct.

I reallly wanted to try this but it seems so disappointing from the reviews. Strange they aren't doing modified characters like other pre-Covid character restaurants. And I think it's just bizarre that every table gets the a shared dessert platter with desserts that aren't exactly shareable (e.g. cupcake).

We were there Wednesday. I hate to say it, we weren't impressed.

I had the fried chicken, Ave the breading was kinda weak, it was thin, fell off the meat too easily, and was not crispy at all. The dark meat was cooked right, but the white meat was rather dry. The greens could've used a better braising liquid, and more time in the pot.

My daughter had the pork chop, and she said the best thing on the plate was the green beans, and she hates vegetables (for the record: DD23)

For dessert, the hummingbird cake was way too sweet, I couldn't figure out the banana cream... something. The strawberry shortcake was decent. My DD did like the cupcake.

Yikes! Sadly saw similar complaints in other reviews. Seems like they have not done well witg the new menu. Strange they wouldn’t just adapt their buffet greatest hits.
