I would like to surprise my kids (3, 6) with a character meal over Labor Day weekend. I have never eaten at Crystal Palace, and have only had lunch at LTT. I would appreciate any recommendations! Thanks in advance! :teeth:

both are great. I have eaten lunch and dinner at Crystal Palace and this coming trip am going to have breakfast there. It is one of my favorite restaurants. It is beautiful, the food is good and the character interaction is great! I have eaten dinner at LTT and the food is good there as well, so is the character interaction. it might come down to which characters you think your kids might like better... pooh and friends, or minnie, chip, dale and goofy... I don't think you can go wrong either way, but if i had to choose, it would be crystal palace

I think it depends on what your looking for. LTT is sit down ,family style and CP is a buffet.

Haven't been to CP- going there for brekkie in November, but I would go with LTT. They bring the food to you, so you don't have to get up at all. And each character comes around to every table, and they have no problem bringing out more food, etc.

Food choice at CP is much better and characters at LTT are better. Depends on what you want....

We did both last year. I asked DD10 which restaurant she preferred to go back to, her answer is: LTT

We did both character meals the week of 8/9-8/14. I thought the character interaction was great at both. But the food at Crystal Palace was MUCH better. I've been craving some of it ever since. The food at LTT however was very forgettable. Blah, boring etc.

CP is our very favorite breakfast at WDW -- and we are not normally breakfast or buffet eaters. I can't comment on lunch or dinner here, since we haven't done either in a few years.

Although it's not the best meal on offer at WDW, we all enjoy lunch at LTT. It's a nice break from the heat and craziness of MK when temperatures are high. Dinner does nothing for me, but my fairly typical younger children love the turkey, mashed potatoes, etc. BTW, this can be ordered at lunchtime, but you miss out on the character interaction.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Since the character interaction sounds great at both places, I'll just talk to DH about what he would prefer to eat. popcorn:: Personally, I want to do both! :cheer2:
