Just wanted to stop in and say hello! Sorry I haven't been around much but work has been hectic. My assistant manager burnt herself with hot oil while filtering our fryers so I had to work my days off to get the store covered. I need a vacation.

I believe someone asked about my June trip. I will be in Orlando June 5th-10th, meeting with Amy and Chris on the 7th, really looking forward to it.

Miss bantering back and forth with my dearest Rosemary, papa and that BUFF german guy! LOL

Mike ... Sorry you fell yucky ... you should remember all that snuggling you do with Katie, you are bound to get what she gets! Problem is she is soooooooooooo cute, I can't blame you.

Rosemary .. Glad Ollie is doing better. If they weren't just like our kids it would be easier to take when they were hurt. At least now you don't have to make all of his "hunting finds" mushy so the can eat them.

Welcome back Eric and Anja -- seems like you did a lot in a week -- wow!

The fish looks awesome. Really nice and I like the hidden mickey.

The weather here is never going to become spring. We had ice storms Thursday and Friday so everything is coated in ice. The front steps of our house has about 3 inches of ice coating everything -- walking is more like sliding. The roads are clear though. And we are getting more snow this afternoon and tonight -- they figure around 3-5 inches. So we can no longer see the ground and who knows when everything is going to melt this time around. The temperature is back below 0C and we are back to wearing winter coats. Ugh.

Need a vacation somewhere it's warm and there is no snow. Was actually thinking about taking the snow tires off the car but I guess not for another couple of weeks. So depressing and so unusual.

Other than the weather we are fine although really looking forward to the cruise.

scootersmom and scootersdad...be on the lookout for an envelope from me which contains alot of Williamsburg, Virginia stuff in it for your vacation!! Just wanted to give you a heads up that it is coming so you won't think it is a suspicious (sp??) envelope!! Know you have been lurking!!

It is snowing here..we are supposed to get 7 to 12 inches and all of the schools in our area cancelled well before the snow even started as a precaution. Did mother nature not look at her calendar and know that it is spring?? Supposed to be 60 degrees on Thursday so then we will need an ark and boots to wade through the mud!!

Viking...I don't have a clue how to scan pictures and send them (nor do I have a scanner) so I am sending our pictures to GoofyNut and she said that she would scan them for me and send them along to you!! Thanks.

Anja & Eric ... glad you had a nice time in Berlin. Welcome back to the real world!

We had a realllllllllllllllllllllllly nice time this weekend in Lancaster with Nancy, Sarah & MaryJo ... and yes, we did talk a lot about the Cruisears and Cruisetoerfest I. I did my best at filling them in on you guys and just how much fun it will be when we are all together.

I can't believe it ... BUT work calls again.

Tullirose and Tullirich..how far are you from Baltimore and is this a possibility for a meet (for you and Arlene)--not sure how many miles this is for you guys...for us, it is about a three hour drive.

Sam works a swing shift so if he were to go with us, his weekends off are May 17; June 14. If we did decide on a definite date, he could always call off without pay!!
Just let the NE PA contingent know and we will be there!!! Hopefully, there won't be snow!! MJ

Anja uses the embroidered bag you sent her every day to carry her lunch (Lovingly prepared by her caring husband) and her paperback for the daily train-ride. She really loves that bag!!

We are back to night-frost again, too Fortunately I didn't have time yet to change back to the summer-tires, but I think I will do it during the Easter holidays.

Tina ... OMG Philip's Seafood was soooooooooooooo good and I was crushed when we lost ours. Is it near Inner Harbor?

Well gotta run ... want to get home before this crapy stuff turns to ice for us folks that live in the mountains!

Goofynut...not the same Phillips seafood house that we had..this one is in Ocean City, MD (you don't honestly think that we would have a restaurant here first, do you??)

Sam still tells me that the Cracker Barrel is coming and I told him, yeah and so is Christmas!

Seems like all of the restaurants go elsewhere and we get them years later..now if only we could get a "Steak and Shake"...we found one last summer in Chattanooga, TN and thought we died and went to heaven..pathetic, I know!!!

Mary Jo there is a cracker barrel on music valley drive less than a mile from fairfield glade and there are all kinds of steak and shakes within a five mile radius of the opryland area. The home office for cracker barrel is in Lebanon, Tn about 20 miles east of Nashville.

Cathy don't mean to rub it in girlfriend, but it is almost 80 here again today. We have the windows up in the house and I am sweating from doing a few chores.

papa...thanks for the info...just love Cracker Barrel and Steak and Shake..only problem is..started Weight Watchers and don't think I can justify the steak and shake with my points...maybe if I just eat there and don't eat anything else all day....LOL!! You'll have to let me know where the fish is located (BTW...Sarah said to tell Stacey that it is way too cool!!) and we can go and see it in person when we are in Nashville..make everyone jealous to have my picture with a giant catfish!! Have a great evening..hope you are feeling better.

Snow didn't amount to much...supposed to have sleet and freezing rain tomorrow....the joys of living in NE PA!!!

Lets see, there's Amy in south Fl. Me in northwest Fl. Maureen in south Fl. Shari a part time resident of south Fl. Hope in Very North FL (AKA Alabama) and Sandra in Atlanta Ga. On second thought, maybe we should just wait for the cruise! LOL

DH and I went fishing this Sunday. I caught 4 Spanish mackrel! I would complain that it was a little chilly out on the water in just my shorts and t-shirt, but I don't want to upset my northern friends.

You could have done it that way too for Anja. Just yesterday I wore my Stars-and-Stripes-bandana in the gym.

Good Morning all. Hope that everyone is doing well.

Eric hope that you get the tires changed soon. We live far enough south that we can get by with using all season tires. We don't get that much snow. Actually we get more ice than snow.

Ave congratulations on the fishing. I do all of my fishing at the Kroger seafood deli. Catch something every-time that I go

Hi Everyone -- still here in the snow.

Luckily most of the storm last night missed us and we only got 3cm of snow (1.5 inches). It is below 0C today but tomorrow it's supposed to go up to 10C. Hopefully it will actually go up that high and start (again) to melt everything. Our front steps are covered in ice (as is everything else) except the roads which are all clear. Haven't made an appointment yet to get the snow tires off my car but hopefully will be able to do so soon. Wish we were going down to Disney now -- we went last April and left when it was snowing and it was so nice to drive down I-75 and watch spring arrive as we got closer to Florida.

Take care everyone -- hopefully in another couple of weeks we'll be complaining about the heat as well.
