Cruise 10/11/2003 Part 2

We hooked up Kathy's computer in the sewing room so that she now has internet access on the home network I set up with everyone sharing the dsl modem.

Katie is walking now and she is hard to handle. If it is too far to walk she just crawls on her hand and knees about 100 mph.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in a little over 5 weeks.

Andy should get you a better room Arlene, because as my dear departed mother used to say" He has more *alls than a Christmas Tree" I am sure that whatever room you wind up with will be better than being at work.

Talked to Cathy @C last night and since it rained in Scranton, their computers are down at the railroad retirement board due to water in the cables.

Have to run and get some honey do's done. Kathy works tonight and I have to go to traffic school this pm. Darn radar guns. Mike

you assumed right: The Acrobat Reader you posess is,.. well, hm, just a reader For making PDFs you need the Acrobat Distiller, which is quite expensive.

No docs for us, we will pick them up at the pier and have to fill everything out there.

We're just happy to be cruising and to meet nice people like all of you. If the Baltimore meet is just a small example of what the cruise will bring we'll definetely have a great time. Once again we will be so sad to get off the ship and back to reality. Oh well lets not dwell on that now.

I will do a very last update and will also produce a smaller version of The List with reduced info. It will provide you with a handy version of The List you can carry with you on the ship for quick reference. I'll do my very best to fit it on one sheet of letter paper using both sides. It may be harder to read for the visually challenged, but you can't help everybody

Michael Jr and I have returned from traffic school and we are both glad it is over. We both got a ticket from the same officer on July 4 th. I was first and my son was second. Nothing like a father and son spending the evening together

I am glad that the cruise is not far off. We all need a break. Hope that Dan, Scott and the other cruisers are able to make their intended destinations OK.

Guess that I need to get on the stick and get some tee shirts done. Mike

Our DVC booked cruise docs arrived today for this sailing!!! YIPEE!! The other reservation that has my daughter in their room has not had docs arrive yet--but I'm guessing it won't be long.

It'll be here before you know it.

Only a few more days till my Wonder Cruise!!

piglet...Haley is adorable!!! No docs for us yet either...doesn't Disney know that PA and NJ are states closest to New York--seems like a lot of folks in NY and elsewhere have gotten their docs...we booked thru DVC and SueEllen just got hers so there is hope!!

Mike and Kathy...Baltimore won't be the same without you!! I broke down (or Sam wore me down) and we finally bought a digital camera!! I can't believe I am up at 4:30 a.m. on a Saturday and on the Dis Boards!! Bus leaves at 6:30 a.m. and we pick it up approx. 45 minutes from our house. Talk later...bye!!

Thank you for all the comments about Haley. You know as long as I've been on these boards, I never knew there was an area where we can post pictures and then link to them in our posts. I have been fighting with my cable company about this. My old company created the page, and I just copied my pics there. This new one said I need to hire someone to create my home page to do this for me. I just about gave up, when I noticed the photo gallery on The Dis main page. I was thrilled. Took me a while to get the pics to the correct size, but I finally did it. Sorry for rambling, but I'm just excited that I can finally add my little angel to my signature.

Hope everyone has a wonderful and dry weekend. Don't forget tomorrow is Grandparent's Day.

Sure, no problem. I figured I'd post this instead of a PM in case anyone else wants to know how to do this or to correct me if I missed something or if there's an easier way of doing something.

First you have to have a pic of Emily on your computer or be able to put one there (using a digital camera or scanner).

Then register at http://www.wdwinfo.com/photopost/index.php
so you can submit pics. It doesn't take long for the moderator to approve the pics.

Once your pic gets approved, then do this:

Right mouse click on it and Go to Copy Image Location

Highlight address url. Right click again and select copy. Place pointer over the highlighted part and then left click on copy. Make sure to copy from the http at the beginning, all the way to the end

Copy address to the signature box in your profile

Type "" without the quotes

Paste the address with no space between the "[ ]" and the "h" in the address

Type "" immediately after your address without the quotes

Click submit

I used Adobe PhotoDeluxe to make my pics the acceptable size.

Hopefully this isn't too confusing. It isn't as hard as it seems.

Hi Folks,

we had a nice chat this morning/afternoon, although we were only a few:
Hygiene99, Tulirose (With Tulirich in the background), Hopelea, Scootersmom, Waltjr, Ripp and me. But we had fun
If I have "the shakes" before our trip I may make it to cruise chat the night before we fly (09/19), but I can't promise it. Usually I can't sleep before a vacation, Anja calls it the "Travel-Fever"

I just got done making our t-shirts. They came out great. I can't wait to wear them.

I also made a couple of extra ones for Haley one with the Disney Princesses and the other with Mickey and Friends that say Haley's First Disney Cruise and Oct. 11-18, 2003.

Congratulations on the camera Mary Jo and thank you for the card. Also want to thank Cathy for her card. Wish that we were going with you back to the inner harbor in Baltimore.

Eric and Anja hope that you have a safe flight to our sunny shores.

Has anyone thought about any contingency excursions if we are diverted due to hurricanes? Last year we wound up in San Juan instead of doing the western route. Just something to think about.
