CRT Reservation Nightmare...Pixie Dust requested! *We're back, it was perfect Post#35

Uuuuugggghhhhhhh. I thought Disney was the world leader in Customer Service. They are not proving this to me as I am now in day four of my nightmare.

Apparently you cannot call these customer service managers directly. Every time I call I have to call the general dining number where I get a very nice cast member who wants to help me. Thank you, but no, not after 4 days. I want a manager, preferrably one who has helped me before. But they can't do that. They have some weird system, I was told that they do not have specific extensions for each other and they cannot call each other. Okay. After holding for more than 20 minutes I was put through to yet another customer servive manager, repeated my entire story yet again, and all she can do is e-mail the manager I spoke with yesterday to see what she has found out from CRT and one of them will call me today to let me know what is going on. Uuuugghhhhh.....why is this so hard?!!

I'm ready to give it all up, cancel the CRT I have for the wrong day and book 1900 Park Fare. It's not Cinderella and it's not the castle but worse things could happen. Just trying to keep everything in perspective. Not having breakfast at CRT will not ruin her birthday. Just very upsetting that a mistake like this was made and now after 4 days I still haven't been able to resolve it.

I appreciate all of the support from you guys. It's comforting to know that so many understand how I feel. When I tried to explain all of this to my SO, he just shrugged and said so we'll go somewhere else. Ah to be a man and never have wanted to be a princess...

I hope they can get this resolved for you soon. :grouphug:

I hope it all works out for you, but it sounds like you have a fabulous trip planned regardless of being able to get into CRT or not. It's only a breakfast and you have much more memorable events to look forward to with your sister's surprise and all.

Best wishes, and have a great trip!

Woo Hoo! Resolution at last!

SO just got home, went home early today to start getting things early for vacation, and there was a message on our home voice mail from CRT. Although our "official" reservation is for 9:05 AM on the correct date now, they are noting in our reservation that as long as we arrive prior to 8:15 AM we will be seated immediately. THANK YOU CRT!!

THANK YOU to each of you for your pixie dust and encouragement!!

because in fact, we've been praying for your issue to be resolved in your favor and we were confident Disney would do the right thing, BUT (there's ALWAYS a but) if the day you have your ADR for CRT is not an early entry day AND you don't have early entry privilages, you may have a problem getting in the park for an early CRT breakfast IF the park opens at 9:00 a.m. (usual time) AND the CM at the MK entry doesn't have the same info the CMs at the CRT have. JUST TO MAKE SURE, if you can, somehow, bring a recording of the message left by the CM on your phone proving you're entitled to the earlier ADR.

All that said...CONGRATS!!! :)

I know I was able to get into epcot with just ps# since they couldn't find us on list and come to find out it was because DH had written down wrong time that was off by an hour.

Thank you all again for your support. I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have this resolved at last.

kymberwolf - Thanks for pointing that out to me, after reading your post I called the cast member at CRT and relayed that fear to her. She assured me that the note would be on the roster along with my reservation. However, I will leave the message on my voicemail and if necessary will call and retrieve it for whomever needs to hear it.

Well, must start packing or we will never get off for this trip. Once again, a sincere thanks for all the support and encouragement. :flower:

Well, thanks to all of your Pixie Dust it all worked out perfectly!

We got to CRT by 8:10 (had to wait for the rope to drop) and were seated immediately!

There were no issues getting into the park at all, no one even questioned us when we went through the gate for early reservations.

We placed an invitation to breakfast from Cinderella on my niece's pillow the night before, and even though she turned 10, she was caught up in the magic.

The look on her face when we entered the castle was priceless. She was so overwhelmed by the experience the poor kid could hardly eat. The waitress brought out a special Magical Moment Certificate and said the princesses would sign it. So, throughout breakfast as the princesses visited our table we took pictures and had the certificate autographed along with her autograph book. When the waitress brought out the Chocolate cake with a candle in it we all started to sing Happy Birthday and the poor thing almost cried. I think it was a birthday she will never forget.

Thank you all for your understanding and your pixie dust!!

im delighted that it all worked out, dis and disney magic at its best :grouphug:
