CRT Lunch since change

Has anybody been to the CRT Lunch since Disney made changes to it?

The reason I ask is that I've been onto the US site and evrybody seems to be slagging it off BIG TIME - awful food, no atmosphere, little or no character interaction.

I felt really pleased when I managed to book it up 5 months ago, and was really looking forward to the experience. We are intending using 2TS each for this as well.

We were unable to get a CRT breakfast last time and if we are unable to book one next trip we are going to try for the lunch. I've read some of the reviews too but we really want to eat at CRT so I'm going to keep an open mind and keep my fingers crossed that I will be able to secure an reservation.

Hopefully somebody will be able to put your mind at rest.

I think this is a great experience for Princess mad little girls. Me and DD17 did the lunch last year when it was 1 credit - we had good interaction with the characters - the food was OK and it was nice to be in the castle.

Don't panic and please don't cancell. We did CRT for lunch on the 24th March this year (just come back - so depressed) and had a fantastic experice. I know a lot of people slag it off but OUR personal experince was fantastic. Me DH and DD(4) attended and had a fantastic time. First of all you meet Cinderella in the hall for a picture before lunch. Then you head on to lunch and get a wand if your a girl and a flashy light thing. Good menu for lunch and tasted as good as it looked. Great interaction with the charactors too who spent most of our lunch milling around and talking to our DD. We dressed our DD up as Belle (her fav) but were told that Belle couldn't make lunch today with Cinderella but they had a special treat for our beautifull princess - only the best seat inthe house - overlooking the park!!!

Boy that made our day!

Then just before we left they came round with the picture (which is part of the lunch package) which was beautiful!!!

Honestly take it from us it made our holiday and our DD felt truly like a princess!!!

IMHO I dont honestly know what some people want?? Or maybe they expect too much.

Did Disney not change the CRT at the beginning of April though? Or have I got my wires crossed?

I was told they changed it the 1st Feb this year. Prior to this date lunch was without charactors ie the same as dinner.

We had lunch with the princesses at CRT last September, it was great and was fairly new I think (Previously it was only breakfast). However, I think more recently they have upped the price and it now includes a photo. I think the characters are different too? Is Cinderella just in the lobby now?

We booked for 12 noon and it was a great time as just gave us enough time in the park first. I sometimes feel park breakfasts waste early morning touring time so we prefer lunch.
