Crowds mid to late April?

so trying to pick a date for our trip next year... Our kids attendance policy is pretty strict so I'm thinking about taking them over spring break? It's later in April so I'm thinking it might not be horrible?? Easter is At the end of March... So I'm thinking (hoping) most spring breaks will be late March/early April. Any thoughts? I love going during low times... And I know it will be busier, but I figured the weather will be nice!! Any input would be great! Thanks!

In 2013 we went the week after the spring break rush. Just checked - it was April 15-19. We had an amazing time. Love love loved it. I don't remember noticing the crowds even a tiny bit (wasn't anywhere near as prepared as this time around, had no clue about crowd levels or recommended days). We went to most parks on their EMH day and it was wonderful. I looked back at the crowd calendars just now and it says it was a level 5-6 that week. The weather was awesome - beautiful weather, it didn't rain until our last day and then it was mostly overcast with just a sprinkle here or there. Didn't even bust out a poncho.

I know every year is probably different - but I so wish we would have booked our trip at the same time this year vs. the first week of June.

The time between Easter and schools letting out is precisely when we took our last 9 trips, and we loved it. You get some crowds on the weekends, but nothing major. It gets hot, but far from unbearable. I'm not going to Florida to wear a jacket, after all! It's really dry at that time, too, so very little rain, and very little humidity.

I also heard from a DCP vet that they start ramping up the rides at that time, to gear up for summer, but I haven't heard that anywhere us.

Finally, it's when Epcot holds the Flower and Garden festival, so that's a big bonus!
