Crowd Calendars

Good afternoon!
How accurate are these Crowd Tracking Calendars? I just saw our first day in MK on 10/17 on Touring Plan and it is a 9! I have seen other calendars and not one said that the beginning of our week was supposed to be that crowded!

Thanks! I was just a bit caught off guard by a 9 level. It won't change my plans, but I would prefer the park not be its busiest!

That's where my question comes in I guess. I know they're based on historical data and I would assume they take current trends and events into consideration. But if that is the case, I'm confused how some websites list a day as 9 and others list as 5?

I would agree with the 'other' calendars. I don't think the Monday after Columbus Day would be a '9'. EasyWDW has it as a '6'. That's sounds more reasonable to me. I will also note that I agree with EasyWDW that the MK can be busier on a Monday.

I think, and I'm not sure about this since I don't use them, that some use computers and some use historical data. My answer would be your guess is as good as mine to the whole thing. I go I look at a line and decide if it's too long for me or not. I don't even look at the wait times posted since they are often long. I've gone often enough I know how most of the lines for the rides we enjoy snake around and if you watch for about 15 seconds you can pretty well figure out how fast they are going. In all the guesses, predictions and posted times, no one can predict whether or not the ride may break down, someone may be in a wheelchair and need assistance thus slowing down the ride, etc.
