Crowd Calendar Sites, did I mess up?

We arrive at WDW on 1/31. Fast passes are set. Dining reservations are set based on which park we are visiting each day (no park hoppers). I set everything up so we will be at the least busy park each day.

I planned using easywdw crowd calendars.

I just saw the touringplans calendar which contradicts pretty much everything on the other site.

Am I in trouble? Are we going to end up waiting forever every day?

If it matters the plan is
Sun-MK
Mon-HS
Tues-MK
Wed-EPCOT
Thurs-MK
Fri-AK (morning only then headed home, not much there for our kids.)

I think you'll be fine. If you are at all concerned about crowds, have a look at easywdw.com's cheat sheets. These are their touring guides and are set up so you can minimize your waits in standby lines.

Fwiw, I went on some pretty crowded days but with plans and strategy. Other than test track closed for weather, I did everything I wanted without huge waits. You will be fine.

I use Crowd Calendar recommendations as a guide. IMHO It is more important to use a smart touring strategies where your there at Rope Drop (30 minutes before opening) and knowing which rides you want to do in an approximate order than going to the least crowded park. If hours are long enough (AKL won't be), take a three or four hour break from Noon or 1 PM and come back to a park in the evening.

I don't get that.... if everyone uses the same plan to avoid the crowds...doesn't that create a crowd?? The last trip we just winged it. No stressful time schedules and with the park hopper passes, we would go somewhere else if it seemed crazy.

The number of people who actually read (and then follow by choosing the exact same parks) is statistically too small to affect crowds.

For instance, we are there the same week, used a combination of easywdw & touringplans and are only going to be at the same park as the OP on Tues & Thurs.

We will be there the week before you (23-29) and our experience has been very low crowds during our past end on Jan trips. Honestly I will always have the same worries as you do that magically the lowest crowd day will become the busiest for no apparent reason but I think we are good!
have an awesome trip!

I never use any of the crowd calendars. I just plan to go to a park on the day I want to regardless of crowd predictions. Just go with a plan and strategically booked FPs and you'll be fine no matter what.

I personally like the touring plans calendars, but others are useful as well. Touring plans emphasizes that having a good plan for the day is way more important than worrying about which day you go. A lot can be accomplished on the busiest of days with a good strategy for arriving early and using FP+ wisely. And having no plan on a slow day can leave you wandering around and not accomplishing much of anything.

I was just coming to the Dis to ask which crowd calendar people trust the most!! I was originally going off of Undercover Tourist but then looked up unofficial touring plans and it was totally different. But I checked out the easywdw and it follows along the lines of UT. We are going beginning of Feb.

EasyWDW and Touring Plans use different criteria to determine the crowd; hence, the difference in numbers. Touring Plans has an explanation somewhere on the site as to how they determine it. I don't know if EasyWDW does or not, since I haven't used it.

A few of the sites keep blog posting that they are trying to sort out why their numbers are so off this year.. I've found easywdw to be fairly close to reality so that's a good choice to use.
