I am so not surprised that they didn't renew Suspect Behavior. I thought it was awful.

I am thrilled about the possibility of everyone coming back though

I never did get attached to the show so I can't say I'm sad about it...

I'd love to see Gideon back even just as a guest appearance but wasn't he completely put off the show by the time he left and that was the reason why?



I watched the first episode and really WANTED to like it but just didn't. I forced myself to watch two more episodes thinking maybe they just had to find their rhythm but I just could not get into it at all. Glad it won't return.

Mandy Patinkin basically said the show was too dark for him and he didn't want to be on it anymore and one day just didn't show up for filming.

I watched the first 4 or 5 before I gave up. I couldn't even remember the characters' names. It didn't hold my interest at all. I was always spacing out during the episodes.

I'm glad it's gone. I'm not surprised at all, I was just waiting for the official announcement

Me too! Especially, if what was speculated: that the original CM show had money/budget problems because some of the CM money, writers & producers went to SB, and that was why AJ Cook (J.J.) was fired and Paget was forced to leave. Plus, the stories were just not as good this season, except the Prentiss storyline. Good Riddance SB!


Thomas Gibson, (Hotch) is still the only actor who has not been able to negotiate a new contract as to whether he will come back to the show. Maybe his agent/manager has been waiting for SB to be canceled. NOW they can take that money they used to pay Forest Whittaker and pay TG what he is worth!

Yes, that was always the story Mandy said. But other rumours were out that gave Mandy a bum rap, saying that he really wanted more money and they wouldn't give it to him. But, after seeing the TIMING of how they have negotiated AJ Cook's new contract and Shemar Moore (Morgan's) contract just last week, in MAY, (and hopefully TG's contract will be firmed up soon,) it doesn't make sense that Mandy wouldn't have had a contract that he agreed to and signed by the time they had started filming in August.

Like shmoogrrrl said the violence & gore has been getting worse every season. Last season, with the Reaper was really gory. Maybe Mandy read a couple if the scripts for his new season and said, "Whoa!!! This is way too much!"

it has been getting darker.

the nights i watch it either current ones or reruns i toss and turn before falling asleep.

especially if the show involves kids - makes me shiver sometimes.

I thought it was just me, that I wasn't paying attention very well and not keeping up. Then I'd loose interest as I couldn't figure out what is going on. Then, when he starts his pacing and "acting as the unsub" to get into his head, I end up annoyed and turning the channel.

Thank goodness you feel the same way! LOL I thought it was just DBF and I, but man.....FW is just bugging me in SB. We are watching it, but we aren't really paying attention to it. lol It's just sort of on TV while we do other stuff.

I guess you missed the news! She is coming back She'll be guest starring on the finale next week and coming back as a regular next season

I won't be sad to see SB go....it's just not as good as CM, gory or not. And I'm not into gore at all, just for the record.

Jill: What are you looking forward to most for season 7?

EricaM: wow, great question. Having the band back together. I see that clearly... and my hope is that it comes to fruition.

Jill: I think you'll have the whole crew back

EricaM: That's the hope. I just want to start telling more stories that we all love! To get into our heroes lives -- to laugh when we can. To see our team breathe and smile. Did you guys like the hotch/rossi/jack soccer game last week?!

Jill: That was fantastic

Hardkorr: I think that’s a given Erica

EricaM: It made me smile for days

Jill: We need more of those moments

EricaM: I read your reactions... those moments are for you. And for Thomas who looks great, especially when he gets the chance to smile!

Jill: We are doing pens for Garcia again this year so Kirsten can use them again in episodes. We want to start having fun again

EricaM: That's great. she'll love that. and so will we. Yes, we've got a clean slate. Looking forward to you all meeting the writing staff. We've got some great people coming to play. I try to write to the real-life jeopardy instead of who got shot in the dark?

jill: You wrote JJ which was a wonderful episode.

EricaM: I was so gutted when I wrote that and I think it came out on the page!

jill: And now we have JJ coming back and that is just sweet!

EricaM: During the read thru, AJ couldn't read the final quote so I read it but had tears in my eyes as I did. And we have our JJ back!!! yes!!!

scoutfinch75: More of a plea rather than a question... can we please have a Rossi storyline in season 7?

EricaM: Yes yes yes! He has so many lives we can explore and we will!
outlawten: What do you think about the idea of having a Criminal Minds soundtrack? I know a lot of us would love to see that happen! We're hoping to meet an ex-wife... done

RaniaC: Now that AJ is back would you consider bringing Josh Stewart back for an episode? I think he's great!

EricaM: Yes, JJ will be dealing with a lot this season. and her home life will be a part of that.

Cephalophile: Any chance we might see Gina or Anderson again? There are those of us who miss seeing them pop up from time to time. : )

EricaM: Yes we want to bring back all of those "regulars"

raineinmd: In the early seasons there were some special effects done with the blue screen, it made giving the profile very cool. Any hope to bringing that special effect back?

EricaM: Most likely... used sparingly.

Daisy: 1) Will there be a conclusion to Reid's headaches in s7 2) when will be know for sure about Paget coming back or not - thank you

robinotl: When do you start writing episodes for season 7... or have you already started?

EricaM: The writers room starts May 31. We've got some ideas floating around, but will start in earnest then.

klbutler219: Any possibility of Criminal Minds ever going international for an episode?

EricaM: I'd love to go international. we tried one year... maybe we can make it happen.

Hardkorr: Any theme yet for next season?

EricaM: Not quite the theme yet although we'll inherit some drama with Hotch & JJ being the 'secret keeper' of Prentiss' "death"

Hardkorr: I so want to see that explored

EricaM: That'll be some drama -- especially after they all had their therapy sessions with Hotch!

christyzachman: If a fan had an idea of a storyline for an episode for the show, would you consider it and how could they inform you of it?

EricaM: We're legally not allowed to hear story pitches -- it bums me out because my mom has them all the time and i'm like, "mom! I can't!"

I used to do that too. I had a lot of films on tape, but I'd watch them when they'd air on TV - even if they had commercials.

I agree about CM SB its to slow for me....maybe because I have been watching CM for so long since the first season and just cant get into the new one.
