oh no - i understand why he told his aunt the guy picked out her picture but he didn't even want to believe it could be her to begin with.

it wasn't until his aunt brought her hair brush that he sent it off for testing - why didn't he ask her for it at the start?

plus what did happen to her? i mean i get that she vanished but have they ever said why or is this the first show they've had with his aunt?

I don't think Morgan asked for the hairbrush. It's just what she heard Hotch say on the news. Morgan didn't even want her to come down there and give her false hope. And yeah, he lied about Cindy being one of the victims so she could move on with her life. Did you notice how happy she was when Morgan told her that? And Rossi gave Morgan that little smile like "I know why you did that and you did the right thing."

I think Kurby meant why didn't Morgan have Cindy's DNA before, since they were looking on & off for her since 2004. I don't think they ever had body parts show up before, in the other cases that came up, to make any type of matches to. Probably all the other women they found were eventually identified.

And yeah, he lied about Cindy being one of the victims so she could move on with her life. Did you notice how happy she was when Morgan told her that? And Rossi gave Morgan that little smile like "I know why you did that and you did the right thing."

I missed all this when I wasn't sure I heard the word right. I was too busy thinking, "What did he say?"


Have you gals heard, that in the real life, Long Island, NY serial murder case, the cops realized the other day that they aren't just looking for ONE serial murderer now, they are looking for THREE unrelated serial murderers! They said there are at least three different, unrelated ways that the 10 different body parts they have found have been killed. Also three different types of victims. No one person did all the murders, and dumped them in the various parts of Long Island.

I am never stepping foot in Long Island again.

Please don't kick me off the thread, but I honestly thought this episode was kinda boring.

And I HATE the way Seaver steps in and points things out like she has been a member of the team forever. Get rid of that woman!!!! I'd rather see Strauss on the team....seriously!

After lengthy negotiations, Criminal Minds co-star Shemar Moore has closed a deal to return to the CBS crime drama next season.

Series producer ABC Studios has an option on Paget Brewster, which it can exercise if Brewster's NBC comedy pilot My Life As an Experiment doesn't go to series. Judging by industry buzz, that seems to be the case but we will have to wait until NBC makes its pickups in the next two days to know for sure.

I guess it makes sense his contract would be last to be settled. He's the second lead of the show. It would be bad blood if they had negotiated his contract before Shemar's and he ended up getting LESS than Shemar per episode.

I think they set up that episode next week in case Shemar didn't come back. But it would be completely unrealistic that Morgan would go before Seaver in the event of a budget cut But now they can use that to get Seaver out.

I still think it had to do with coming up with funds to pay, Academy Award Winner, Forest Whitaker's salary on the untested Suspect Behavior series.

With that turning into basically a flop, Shemar, as he said in a past article I posted, PROVED it really requires something special to make CM. And HE'S got it! That went a loooong way towards negotiating his worth to the show.

Now, PLEASE KEEP THOMAS GIBSON, CBS/ABC. PAY HIM WHAT HE IS WORTH!!!

Stupid over-acting Forest Whitaker...Shemar is better

We're sooo close to having our team back!

That would be a great guest appearance for Gideon especially with Reid's possible schizophrenia going on.

Does anyone else have problems understanding what Forrest Whittaker is saying? He talks so fast that we find ourselves rewinding a LOT to catch what he'd said...it's very annoying. And I will agree that YES, SB is NOT as good as the regular CM!!!! I don't like Seaver much at all, she grates on my nerves, I like Emily but I really liked JJ...I want them to bring back JJ!!!!!

I thought it was just me, that I wasn't paying attention very well and not keeping up. Then I'd loose interest as I couldn't figure out what is going on. Then, when he starts his pacing and "acting as the unsub" to get into his head, I end up annoyed and turning the channel.

Bummer. I liked SB. It reminds me of the OLD CM when it was more about the story than the violence and gore. I know I am the only one here who feels that way, but still. I'm also disappointed that JJ is coming back, so I am totally off the wall here.

I AM super thrilled to have Emily back though, if that happens.

I'd love to see Gideon back even just as a guest appearance but wasn't he completely put off the show by the time he left and that was the reason why?

I never did get attached to the show so I can't say I'm sad about it...

I watched the first episode and really WANTED to like it but just didn't. I forced myself to watch two more episodes thinking maybe they just had to find their rhythm but I just could not get into it at all. Glad it won't return.
