I think we're in for reruns till after the Olympics!
I just got caught up to Season 4 of CM.. is there any way to catch up on Season 5 shows besides itunes?
Anybody know the name of the song tonight on Criminal Minds when the grandparents find out they have a little boy Michael. Loved it, trying to google but cant find it.
Rerun tonight of episode 5 from this season. Not to be confused with all the reruns from past seasons on A&E and ION.
New episode next week.
As far as I know, no. Criminal Minds airs on CBS, but, when I checked online for past episodes, I found the production company is actually owned by ABC. So replaying the shows have fallen into the cracks. CBS.com doesn't show episodes, just clips. And I guess, because it's not technically an ABC show, they don't show it on their website either.![]()
There may be places that show it online. But, when I did a Google search on some of these sites, they make you download something to view their videos. They could be loaded with spyware or viruses.I wouldn't suggest trying them.
Like every procedural crime series of late, Minds is stocked with weary, overworked detective types. But here they also seem bored, bitter, and unengaged. Even pleasantly average NCIS has more chemistry among its actors (the two CBS series each boast female computer geeks of the safely ''punk'' variety). Minds' profilers are led by Mandy Patinkin so uncharacteristically subdued and detached it's like watching a tranquilized circus bear dreaming of his happy forest days.
Joining him on gray plane rides to ''cities'' that all look suspiciously interchangeable is a team that includes Dharma & Greg's blank-faced Thomas Gibson and the likable Matthew Gray Gubler, who, as the group's young mastermind, sports a cold, fashion-free look. The goal is Brilliant Nerd Chic, but he looks more like a serial killer than the serial killers. (All he's missing is one of those sinister beige cotton Windbreakers.) Like those silly quotes, Gubler's psychiatrist Spencer Reid supplies a veneer of thoughtfulness: He makes scientific-sounding yet incredibly obvious observations such as ''The gun gives him power yet lets him maintain distance.'' (Yes, that's the definition of a firearm, genius.)
But here they also seem bored, bitter, and unengaged.
Wow! What "bored, bitter, and unengaged" critic wrote that?I wonder if that guy had auditioned for CM and got rejected.
Funny, for such a "bad" show, it's amazing how there is a spinoff series in the works.![]()
New episode tonight![]()
So I started watching CM around Xmas (my MIL got me into it!) and I watch as many repeats on Ion or whtever so I can catch up. I'm still hopelssly in the dark about a lot of the past storylines. Can someone give me the Cliff's Notes version of the past? It can be a PM if folks don't want to be spoiled.
TIA,
H

Did anyone see the preview for tonight's episode? Criminal Minds commercials on CBS are getting really creepyOr maybe they've always been like that. I just got into the show this season so I've mostly seen the commercials on ION.
Whats funny is that at first they say mgg is likeable then say hes creepy and a serial killer. So hes a likeable killer?I cannot believe the way that article dissed Reid. They were wayyyy off. I have NEVER thought of him as creepy in anyway, muchless as creepy as an unsub.
Glad there is a new episode tonight.
