For our December reservation, we asked for a crib instead of using the pack and play. Does anyone have a photo of them? I'm assuming they don't provide crib sheets?

I do have a photo, but have no idea how to post it!! We also requested a real crib instead of the pack n play. Boy did we have a hard time! This was at the BW in Nov. We had requested a real crib on our ressie. Then I requested it at check in. Was told, "it's in the room". Got to the room and there was only a pack n play in the closet. Called front desk, was told to call housekeeping. Called hosekeeping and was told it's in the closet. I said I need a real crib, not a pack n play. They rudely told me, "you should've asked for one on your ressie". I said I did and I had my printed ressie to prove it! They told me I had to be put on a wait list for the crib. I was so mad. Nothing I could do. So we set up the pack n play and left to explore the resort. When we got back to the resort the pack n play was put away and the crib was there with a Mickey balloon and his stuffed animals and blanket arranged so nicely. It was a nice surprise.

The crib was a silver metal one. The sides didn't go down, It did have a crib sheet with Mickey's on it, of course!

Hope this helps.

We got a real crib at the VWL back in September. I have a picture, but it's from my "regular" camera.

It was full size, but metal...so it made a lot of noise. I believe that it did come with a crib sheet, but I had brought my own.

We didn't have it on our reservation at all. I just called Mousekeeping once we arrived to see if there were any available.

My son does not sleep well in a pack n' play. To make sure that we will definitely have a full size crib we rented one from www.abbf.com during our recent OKW stay and it worked really well. We plan to rent a full size crib again during our upcoming WDW trips.

We had a crib at wilderness lodge last trip. I just looked through our digital camera and I'm sorry, but there wasn't one of it. Before we had just had the pack n plays. The crib was metal, and it was light enough to move around - it wasn't really like the "crib" at home, in that the mattress was probably only a couple of inches thick. It was like the one described from the boardwalk, the sides didn't go down. It did have a Mickey sheet. Wasn't any problem getting it.

WOW! Thanks for all of the information! I will share this with my husband and see what he thinks. We're currently at SSR, but hope to switch over to BWV at the 7-month mark.

We also had the metal crib for our granddaughter who had just turned 1 and she didn't sleep well in it at all which really surprised us. One night before the end of the trip, we put her in the pack and play and she slept like a log. We think it may have been due to the style of the crib which to me was more like a hospital crib with its high sides that did not go down. Just a suggestion in case your little one has a problem. We didn't realize it could be the crib. I wish we had discovered it earlier in the trip. Also, I too had requested the crib when I made the reservation and checked on that request several times before we arrived and when we arrived, it was not there and we had to go through a back and forth about the crib, but I was insistent, not rude, but insistent, not accepting excuses and they did eventually bring it. Good luck. Have a great time.
