I had a total of about 15 Trick-or-treaters last night and their age ranged from 10-15...not many!!!!

Im here. Sandy and Heidi sending more your way. I know how tough it is to lose a parent unfortunately. I am sending you as many prayers and thoughts as I can for you to find some comfort in.

I am really having a rough time with everything that is going on in my life. My DH's family is really falling apart. Everyone is fighting over what is best for his parents care. It's just a big horrible mess. I bet I look like a wild woman who just had a cat fight I'm so stressed hahaha.

Well I do have a little good stuff mixed in with all the bad. I got my luggage yesterday. Maybe this weekend I will start packing. I have been talking to DCL off an on all week about the dolphin encounter. They got a replacement and once again we are going to see dolphins. It reallys is working out better though because now the dolphin encounter is from 9:25 - 1:30 and my spa appointment is at 3:30 so I get to do both. I read on our cruise meet board that someone got their cruise docs Saturday. I hope I get mine soon. The thing is, will I have had a nervous breakdown before the trip from all the stress going on.

When does Selena come home???? I want to hear a trip report.

Thank you so much Karen, your post really made me smile. I'll be okay I am just so angry at my DH and his whole family. Well I am angry at my DH over another issue. I am supporting him 100 % on his views of his parents. Also guess what my DH, DD and I are all 3 battling a cold 2 1/2 weeks before we leave. I went out and bought some of those Zicam swabs Selena told us about. I think I'm in the best shape but it looks like my DH and DD will be going to the doc before the week is up.

Marcie - go to your drug store and get Airborne. My coworker highly recommends it and lives by it. I think my mom and dad even used it once.

What are the Zicam swabs? I missed that post.
I have been steadily getting ready for our Feb cruise. When I wasn't working I did a ton of research and so I was set until the hurricane. Does anyone know what happened to Cozumel? I haven't had time to find out.
Anyway, I was getting everything ready so when the holidays come I don't get stressed out. I wll be making little ship candies and I will somehow make a disney flag to put up when my sister comes. Then when I go to the airport to get her I think I will get a big Mickey Balloon!!!!! (or 2 or 3). I should be getting my t-shirts soon. I wasn't really happy eith the print but I would have had to pay extra to change and she kind of did me a favor on the price. (we never got it on paper when I went in the beginning of the summer and the prices more than doubled since!!! The ONLY reason I did not do them in the summer was because I thought it was their busy season and since I was not in a rush...... well.. when it came time for me to bring them in, she remembered me but she toldme the new prices. I started crying (can you believe that? I was SO upset and am such a baby.) Anyway, after I creid she gave me the original quote, so I didn't feel like I could complain.
My doormagnets are done, my basket order is in . . . (poor Shirley, tough year with her friends and all in the Keys....), almost all my Christmas shopping is done (only because most of the stuff is cruise related!!!). A week before Thanksgiving I will put my tree up (I did this last year and it TOTALLY took the stress out of trying to get the tree up in time) and I am leaving my tree up until after my Feb cruise. I KNOW.... but I am going to have a small makeshift Christmas with my sister 2 nights before we leave and I have all kinds of Mickey presents for the whole family . . . that will stay under the tree so weallhave more gifts to open then) I am SO excited!!!!
OK, I really SHOULD get some work done today!!!! Love you guys! Karen

Heidi, someone at work just told me about airborne right before I read your post. What exactly is it? I will have to go get some.

Karen, you already put in your basket order? I haven't done that yet. I thought I should wait until next week. Do you think I could call her now? Maybe it would make me feel better. I love the balloon idea to meet your sister. You are going to have so much fun. I made more door magnets last weekend and I made thank you cards. All I have left to do is print out the magnets on the magnetic paper. I still haven't decided exactly what to put in my DH's basket. I'm thinking of making it a basket for both of us and putting happy anniversary from mickey & minnie on it. My DD's basket will be easy. I gave in and booked a limo to bring us to the airport. It's 1 1/2 hour ride. Can't decide if we will watch a DVD or play disney CD's LOL. Okay I am feeling better now.

Marci~ If you are going in 2 1/2 weeks away from going, I wopuld place my basket order. I figured since I am the one doing all the surprises, that I was going to do my Dh's basket for both of us. I figured I would maybe know what was in it but not how it was going to look, so that was as close to surprise for me as I would get. I AM excited!! Now, in the DH's and my basket, I am putting a bottle of wine(me) and a 6 pack of the Schmirnoffs drink, nuts, candies, a kozie for his bottle, maybe glasses if they are not too expensive, pretzels. Not much, but enough to be exciting!
A limo!!!!!! How exciting! The one reason I didn't b#@%ch when my DH bought a new truck last month was because we did not have a way to get all 11 of us to the port with our luggage. Now, we can drive both his truck, my car. Girls in the car, guys in the truck, girls ppurses and pocketbooks in the car, luggage in the truck!!!! I am WAY too excited and I have to be quiet on this end because DH says I am going to get everybodys (including his) expectations up and they will fall (he is the negative one that I have to constantly deal with

Karen - you are so cute!!! You are so creative and have the best ideas. I love reading about what you are going to do next. You get me all excited for my cruise and that's not for a year!!!!

Marcie - all I know about Airborne is that it has a citrus taste and you dissolve the tablet in water. It is good for preventative and then once you get a cold it is good to cure it.

Marcie, wish I could help you. It has to be wearing on you. Take deep breaths!! Glad you get to see the dolphins. At least some good news your way!!

My dh and I used airbourne on the Panama Canal cruise. You take it right before getting on the plane, or in crowded areas, or around someone sick or if you are getting sick. My dh did get a cold but I didn't.

I love Grease!!!!! My DH and I had lunch together and talked about our disagreement and his family too. We got our disagreement worked out. His family is another story but at least we agree on that. So at least I'm happier now. I called Shirley and ordered our gift baskets. She is so sweet. I can't wait to see the baskets. I got..pirate stuff and candy and drinks for my DH and flashlights, glow necklaces, pirate stuff, body glitter, snacks for my DD.

Karen you sure have been great today. Everytime you post I smile. Too bad all of us funky monkeys arent cruising together.

Marcie, glad that the two of you worked things out. You don't need to be upset with each other with all that is going on. I wish we could work out a time for all of us to cruise together, also. First I want to say, Sandy and Heidi I am so sorry for you loss. I can not imagine what it feels like to lose a parent. Heidi you are so lucky to have had your grandparents so long. Be thankful of that. I know that sounds bad now but I lost my last grandparent while I was still in Middle School. I will keep your family in my prayers. Here are hugs for you all

Marcie I thought FIL was having surgery???? What happened? He is living alone right now? OH man I feel for you. I will keep you all in my prayers as well.

Here you all are talking about losing weight. I just hopped on my scales and almost screamed!! I know I can lose it in a week because most of it is water weight. BUT...

I got my pm, Sandy. Do we know what type of ornaments everyone likes? I think that would be a great to know. I would love to be able to pick an ornament I know would fit in with their tree.

Sandy, the birthday card was mailed on Saturday. I hope he gets it soon!!

I will make a post sometime tomorrow about our experience this weekend!!

My FIL couldn't have surgery because his blood was too thin, they cancelled it so he harrassed the nurses until they discharged him. My MIL decided today that she was going back home to him. She can barely get out of the bed, but now they've both decided they want to stay in the motor home. My DH says he gave them help and now they've declined so what can he do. It's just a really crazy mess.

2 1/2 more weeks!!!!!! I am so ready to get out of here for a while. Good night everyone talk to ya tomorrow.
