Stephanie did I mention my husband works for an insurance company? He tells friends all the time unless the person is rich who caused the accident you should not get an attorney at first. The insurance will only pay so much and your insurance company will do the investigation and will then subugate the other company. They will pay. However if you think your nephew will need to go after more money for his recovery and the person has the money then would want to look into a lawyer for a personal suite again him.

I think the reason they went with an attorney is because the other guy was drivng a company owned SUV not his own personal car -- I really can't remember all the details. I know I don't get every piece of information since we only get to talk every few days or so and things are forgotten -- kwim? Her and I are both over 40!

I got my eyebrows waxed last Thursday and was thinking about the other again. Heidi let me know how the pain goes. Tonight I have a pedicure appointment after Aerial's softball game. It is so warm here, I need to buy some new summer shoes and flip flops.

We got some good news last night! Aerial made it into National Junior Honor Society! The induction is Thursday night, an hour after her softball game ends and she has to be dressed up. That's going to be a busy night.
Selena, when is the date of that 2008 Nov. cruise?

I missed American Idol last night. Chris's mom sent us a Key West puzzle that has been passed around the family between his siblings and his mom. It is our turn to do the puzzle. Chris had been doing it for 2 hours before I got home and we continued to do it though the night. It's addicting!!!

Marcie - I did it and it didn't hurt as much as I remembered!!!!! I survived another waxing....woohoo!!!

I am back in my glasses. My eye is giving me trouble again. I can't wait to go to the doctor and see about lasik. At the beginning of May I am calling for an appointment.

I saw Idol last night. Almost everyone did awesome. It was a good night for them.

I want Lasik, too. But I am a big chicken. My glasses make me sick to my stomach everytime I wear them. I absolutely LOVE my prescription sunglasses. I think that reflections are what is making me sick.

Finally I am able to get on the DIS. I couldn't get on all day yesterday after I first posted.

I never figured out what I wanted to give Aerial tonight, but it was taken care of for me. On Monday I had ordered Aerial some special drawing markers and pens that she's been wanting, I was going to give them to her in her Easter basket. Well, they showed up at work today. That was fast, since they were coming from NYC. So, I'm going to wrap them up and give them to her tonight. It all works out in the end. Guess what, my Mom decided to come for the induction. So, that will be nice.

It was so nice, and Sandy was right, when they called her name to get her certificate I was crying. She's now in the NJHS. Afterwards my Mom and my cousins wanted to go out to eat and they wanted to go to the Roadhouse. They had a difficult time seating all of us and it took forever. We didn't get home until after 9 and Aerial has 3 tests today and homework in another subject too. So She is dragging today. The thing is my Mom would have been offended if we didn't go with them. But at least it's over and she can rest this weekend.

Just wanted to send you some love from Lulu and Robbie. I haven't been on in forever, but I am going to catch up over the weekend with my reading and I certainly hope all of you are doing well.

Marcie, Congratulations to Aerial for her induction! That's great. I love to see kids who care about doing well in school. They're like ten steps ahead of everyone else.

All week I've been sleeping about 3-4 hours, trying to get school work done, but I am hoping that tonight will be my last night of this weekend doing work/grading. I have a bridal shower and my nephew's 4th birthday party - with a Mickey Mouse theme - to attend.

Anyway, I miss you and I wish you all happy, healthy lives, filled with cool drinks and warm memories until I get the darn time to get back on here and chat again.

I need some ideas and help. My coworker is pregnant and her boyfriend is a total loser. They have been fighting a lot and he is not supporting her in any way (financial or emotional). She just found out last night that her mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and that they don't know how deep it is or where else it has spread. They think the cancer has spread. Any ideas what I can do for her to cheer her up? Her mom lives in FL, and she is out here in CO.

That is so sweet of you Heidi. Anything from a card, to a little inspirational book will probably let her know you care. Or, see if she needs to get a way and spend some time together. Go out to eat or to the mall or something. I'm not the best at that but one time one of my co-workers was really down and I bought her a little inspirational book. She loved it.

So am I. I was out on a job site last night watching some girders being placed over I-70 and didn't get to bed until 2am. Of course I didn't make it in today until 10:30 but I wish I could have just stayed home.
