Didn't wake up great today!!! Our power went off sometime in the middle of the night and I woke up to Chris. It was after 5:30, the time I leave to go to work and of course he had to open up his presents right away so I was running a little late this morning!! He has the next 5 days off...lucky guy. Today, his day consists of getting a massage...what a rough life.

Today is a big day for me too. The corporation deadline!!! One down and one to go. When I got to work today I had a Texas Roadhouse gift certificate on my desk.

I made an apointment at the spa for the first Saturday after tax season. I will be there from open until closing. I have a body scrub, massage, and 2 hour facial. I can't wait.

Ya, our family has it pretty easy to remember birthday days...not many dates to remember. Mine and Stacey's B-day is the same day, Chris and Rich is the same day, Joey and Tyler is the same day, Chris's girls is the same day, and my mom and dad's b-day is 2 days a part!! So really we only have to remember 5 days for 10 people!!!!

Sorry everyone. I did not mean to worry you. Like Marcie's busy time of year mine is now starting.

We had a huge state mandated test to give last week. When it is a state test like that we are given the date and time we must test. Some tests have testing windows in which we are given a range of time to get everyone tested.

Last week was our Writing Test. This test is given to 4th, 7th and 10th graders. We tested a main day last week then the very next day was a makeup day. We have another day to finish up but those dates are set ones.

We will be busy for the rest of the year with testing and remember I am in charger of several other graduation responsibilities.

I cancelled two cruises last week as well. I am now being the group leader (since I am not a TA) for a group cruise out of LA on Carnivals's Pride. We are going in November 2008. Hey if anyone is interested let me know and I can give you some more details! Remember I am not the TA but I am able to do alot of the planning for this cruise! We are getting a $100 OBC per room, a free cocktail hour party and champagne and chocolates in our room.

I will try to do better and at least check in at evening time.

Thank you! When my sister took him to the hospital on Friday (he's been home about a week now) they were told that his lungs are clear now And they removed the staples from the surgery area. The Dr told him that they only reason he survived andis doing so well is because of his age. He'll be 22 in a couple of weeks.

He was also told that it is going to be around 3 months before he can walk on his own - they think! Right now he has to use a walker and it has to be flat -- no stairs for a long time!

His spirits haver really soared since coming home. Of course he is bored out of his mind being at home if no one is there... right now my sisiter & his wife have both taken a few more days off to alternate being with him... Luckily my sister can do some of her work from home -- she does marketing for Sports Clips.
I really wished they lived closer so that we could help!!!

The other guys insurance company is now saying that they aren't going to pay since they don't believe it is their clients fault -- to run the red light he drove around 2 stopped cars (he drove on the shoulder to do that) and he was still going 73mph when he hit my nephew! Luckily my sister has hired an attorney - the car was in my sisters name.

He could still use prayes for more physical healing and his emotional healing.
