Cristi, major hugs sent your way....especially for Brad. I don't blame you for not telling the kids. I don't think that I would either!!
Sunday, Chris and I took the girls hiking at Red Rocks. We climbed up and down the ampitheatre steps, went to the visitor center, had a picnic, climbed rocks, hiked on many trails, climbed more rocks and then went home!!
His dad is making him crazy. I knew it was a mistake to tell them. His parents always have such a gloomy outlook on everything. Just when I think Brad feels a little better his dad will call and tell him things like he will probably have to take a job he doesn't want. That might be true, but he doesn't need to hear it constantly. Sometimes I just want to smack him (his dad).![]()
I had a great night last night with my sister. She needed to get out of the house and we went shopping. She took me to a place where she attended a wedding. It was beautiful, so I requested information this morning.
LuLu - I just read your thread that you posted a few days ago and just wanted to give yoy another hug.![]()
I think I can, I think I can. ONE MORE HOUR!
Did I ever mention we got a treadmill? I just got through doing a 30 minute workout. It sure is good to release all this stress inside of me. I've gained 5 or so pounds this tax season though. Probably all that comfort food.
Thank you for all my hugs. Never too many, definitely.
Steph, that is terrible. I can't imagine being told something point blank like that. How cold. You're right - a lot of it is the way it's said, too. If people explain limitations, it doesn't hurt as much.
On the positive side, it encouraged me to not take work so seriously and to make time for my friends more.
