CP or Chef Mickey's ?...

Opinions please...

What do you think is the better choice for a character dinner? We ate at the Crystal Palace about 5yrs ago for lunch and really enjoyed it. We are planing on a character dinner close to MK so any help would be appreciated!

Choosing between these two is difficult. I just have to say that Chef Mickey's is alot more fun than CP. At Cp, the overly large dining area means only one visit from the characters--at Chef Mickey's they came along numerous times. Also, the napkin dance is hilarious and nothing like that happens at CP. The food at both are quite good, but IMHO Chef Mickey's wins my vote!

I have to agree with GONETODISNEY... Chef Mickey's wins by a small margin... Really you can't go wrong with either but Chef Mickey's would be our choice!

We used to be a Chief Mickey's fans, but after our last vist in July, to both of them, I would say CP is the one to go to now. We have always end our vacation and celebrate our dd bithday, 7-18, at CM's. This was her 13th birthday and maybe it was her age or that there were many other celebrations going on, but the characters just didn't pay much attention to her, kind of hi--by thing. The food was not as good as usual and the service definately wasn't there either. Where as at CP, it was a totally different story, even though we weren't celebrating a birthday. Our next trip we'll be eating at CP's not CM's, and that's sad.

Hmmm..

I'm still undecided When we were at the CP my ds was "chef of the day" so that was really cool- we did only see the characters at our table once, but overall we liked the food and had a great time. Does anyone think the food at CMs is better?

I might think about which of the characters you want to see. Pooh and gang, or Mickey and his pals. We are one of the few people who have gotten bad food at CP, but the character interaction and service were great and we will go back. My DS has kind of out grown pooh so now it would be Cheif Mickey's for us if we were just choosing one.

I vote for Chef Mickey's. The food is very good and Donald was always by the desserts and easily accessible to kids.
