Haven't decided what we are going to do while in Cozumel and we are just a little over a month away from our cruise. So...I need your help!
What did you do?
Would you do it again?
What should we definetly NOT do?

Thanks!!

We loved Chankanaab. We had three families. We saw the sea lion show, some of us swam with the dolphins, some of us snorkeled, and the children had a blast playing in the shallow inlet. There was something for everyone there. We all took a taxi (actually a van) to the park, and everyone had a very fun and relaxing time -- if that's possible with 6 adults and 8 children!!! Therefore, I would highly recommend this park.

Note: I read a recent post about a garbage/smell problem at the park, but we did not experience any of that and thought the park was nice and clean. Hopefully, that was a one-time occurence, and they've fixed the problem.

Enjoy your trip!

Went last April - Paradise Beach - Taxi ride over - at the time all chairs, beach umbrellas, rafts...etc FREE pluse FREE admission, bar and snack bar - music, massage found out about it on the cruise critic boards - owner from Canada 'Paradise Beach Tom' - really great and friendly place...not sure if it still free...but new and very clean...have fun..the taxi drivers know where to go and are available when you are ready to leave...families and singles having a great time...

This year we did the jeep tour and it was so much fun! Last year we did the royal swim with the dolphins, and that was an experience of a lifetime. Since you are past the 60 days, you might not get the jeep tour. Also the royal swim books up pretty quick! Good luck!

We have been to Cozumel at least 3 times on DCL. twice we went to Mr. Sanchos beach club and once we did the Jeep tour. Both were great in their own way. One was relaxing, one was very stimulating!!! When we go again I would like to try Paradise beach.

In the evening we would go for drinks at Carlos and Charlies.

We did the Tulum Ruins tour and thought it was awesome. The day went very quickly and was extremely well organized. The view from and of the ruins is breathtaking.

I heard that the Paradise Beach still provided snorkeling equipment, etc. free last week. Some people from Carnival Glory said it was an excellent experience and the taxi was $12 to get there!

We were there the first week in March. We did the Jungle Jeep Tour and then went downtown for dinner and drinks with our dinner mates. If you like tequila, then make sure you stop by the Tequileria to taste the different tequilas.

We were there in March too and did the dolphin encounter with snorkeling and enjoyment of Chankanaab. The encounter was great!

DH decided on Cozumel morning that we needed to do an excursion. We had planned on Paradise Beach but were a little sunburned. We looked through the Passporter and picked the Fury Catamaran Snorkel, sail, and beach party--way less $ than dolphins or Chakanab. We booked that morning. That afternoon we got on a catamaran right by the ship with other DCLers. We sailed a short distance to a snorkel spot where one of the dive guys spent a lot of time with my 6 year old DS who was having trouble figuring out the snorkeling thing. He really enjoyed it because of this guy. Then we sailed for 30-45 minutes to a beach--did I mention the music on board and the free pop, beer and margaritas? We had an hour on the beach with food available for purchase, free floats and free drinks (we didn't drink on the beach). On the 45 minute sail back they played the traditional party dance numbers, YMCA, casper slide, etc. and lots of people were up and dancing. The staff was very nice and the trip was loads of fun for all of us (other kids are 9 and 12). The Passporter readers had given it a very high rating and I agree completely!

We got off the ship right when we docked..grabbed a cab to Mr. Sancho's where we had planned on relaxing on the beach and having lunch. It was wonderful..hubby said he could spend a week there..lol. The food was fabulous..the beach beautiful. Great changing area and restrooms..very clean.

After about 3 hours or so..we grabbed a cab back to the shopping area. We got let off in front of the forum shops. We went upstairs for cigars and mojitos, then downstairs to check out the jewelry. We walked a couple blocks away from the dock to the grocery store to purchase tequila and vanilla. Then worked our way back to the dock..shopping as we went.

1/2 way through..too many packages..had to take them back to the ship..we changed clothes..freshened up and came back out to finish looking around and have dinner. We had dinner at Carlos and Charlie's..right across from the dock. It was very good..lots of fun in there. Dancing, good music, excellent food.
We didn't get back on the ship until about 30 minutes before it left.

We were there this past May. Originally, we had planned to take a cab to a beach, but we changed our minds the night before and booked the afternoon Fury catamaran excursion. We got off the ship in the morning and did some shopping within walking distance to the ship. Then we went back to the ship, grabbed a snack and our snorkel gear and went on the excursion. It was awesome - I would definitely recommend it. The snorkeling was pretty good, and the beach they take you to is fantastic and beautiful. The catamaran sail was fun and relaxing too. We loved it!!

What great suggestions! Thank you all. The problem now is I want to do it all!! But isn't the problem on most vacations?!!!
Thanks again!:sunny:

Other than the heat, how was the Jeep tour?

Thanks!!
