We are traveling to Disney 14 April thru 21 April - so right around the time that a post Easter Asymptomatic surge could be occurring. We are from MA and definitely subscribe to the cautious positions out state has on indoor dining. We still partake in indoor dining but only at restaurants we feel are truly meeting the recommendations for us to have minimized risk exposure during our 45min to 1 hour meals. (We look forward to a more leisurely meal post covid at home - but never at Disney so that works out!!)

We have booked indoor Disney dining daily for our trip - but I am wondering what other options for take out (that would still be hot when it got to us!) or outdoor dining/eating might exist for us around the world. (Note - We will definitely be eating flower and garden booths on our EPCOT days)

We are DVC, staying at BLT, and we will have a car.

All I know is the outdoor carryout area's were almost as sketchy as eating indoors inside the parks. Infact I might go even as far as to say it felt less safe during my trip two weeks ago. I think the main reason is the people have the same idea and pack the area's. Plus the counters to grab carry out are also packed and people commonly push their way through. Inside the tables are spaced out and I was able to social distance even when waiting. Just my opinion though, maybe others don't feel the same way.

In October & early Feb. we had wonderful, quiet relaxing meals at Geyser Point. Not that many people there - or weren't when we were there - although the menu isn't exactly expansive.

I’ve been 5 times since the reopening and avoided indoor dining.

Magic Kingdom
Tony’s Town Square-very meh food but the patio is nice and there’s beer in there

Epcot
Rose and Crown-lovely view from the patio, great beer, kinda heavy for lunch

Spice Road-loved everything: food, view and service were all great

Disney Springs
Homecomin’ has a patio. I love Homecomin’ but reservations can be hard to come by.

Wine Bar George-small balcony area, great small plates menu.

Dockside Bar at Boathouse-appetizers and drinks on the floating dock. The Amphicars float by.

STK-$9.99 weekday lunch burger special, probably the best dining value on property.

Hollywood Studios/Animal Kingdom
I have’t done any table service at Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios since the reopening.

At AK I like the food at Satu’li Canteen but prefer the seating area at Flame Tree BBQ. Flame Tree has waterside tables with a view of Expedition Everes, Satu’li Canteen looks very canteen-like. Nomad Lounge (AK) is nice but it can be tricky getting an outside table there.

The Brown Derby Lounge was my go-to at Hollywood Studios. Right now I either brownbag or just snack at DHS.

Resorts
If I just can’t face another meal at Tony’s I’ll take the boat from the MK over to Geyser Point at Wilderness Lodge. The crab cake appetizer is nice and the venue is lovely.

Trattoria al Forno (Boardwalk) has a few outside tables. I really enjoyed the two breakfasts I’ve had there and enjoyed walking to DHS after my meal.
