5estesfamily I am posting to say I am sorry I did not get your envie out this week. I have had the flu and this is the first day in over a week that I have even been able to get out of bed. I will get something out Monday.

FYI- I have never had the flu before, teach and always get a flu shot. This year I had broncitis when flu shots were given at our school an could not get it then. Thus, for the first time ever I have had the flu. Dr. said it is the strand A and it is one of the worst strands they have seen in years.

My advise if you are at risk or work with the public and have not gotten a flu shot yet (and you are a canidate to get it) GO TODAY AND GET A FLU SHOT.

I have never felt so bad in my entire life. I pride myself on being able to push through most things. There is no pushing through this it will knock you out. I have had 4 students with the flu already. I know how hard it has been as an adult, I cannot imagine how hard it was for my 5-6 yr. old students or how it would be for the elderly. I am not a big fan of vaccines but this strand of flu is no joke people.

Hmcfall711 - Not to worry! Feel better soon! I just got the latest issue of All You - so I have plenty of coupons to send, plus the next couple of weeks are optional - so we will catch up.
I am in health care and we are definitely seeing a ton of flu! I hope everyone got their shot. We are seeing a few people who got the shot and are still getting it, but the majority of people who are getting the flu are those that didn't get vaccinated!
