Total coupon savings: $40.56

This will be the first time I'm posting savings..I hope I do it right!

Stop & Shop 7.17
Rite Aid 14.00 plus 10.00 for future purchase
CVS 33.71 plus 4.99 extra bucks

So would that mean 54.88 or do you add the extra bucks for the total to be 69.87?

Either way...

The spirit of my info collecting was to show folks how much we save w/ coupons. I think the way you posted is great...coupons and then brag on the total saved with extra bucks/shoppers cards too!!

I mailed your envie today. Got to the post office yesterday (not my normal one) and realized that I had not taped the envie.

I haven't been around much the past few days as we moved my mother this weekend. Quick move and NOT a good situation why. I'll give everyone one guess as to where we moved her to.
Here are a few hints:
1 - I don't have to drive across town to see her any more.
2 - My garage is full of boxes again.
3 - I no longer have a guest room.
:teacher: oooh! I know! Your guest room!!;) Hope things go smoothly!

JSTBCUZ-- A belated welcome to the best coupon train ever! :cool1::banana::cheer2: I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I have. Your first envie was mailed out on Monday, so you should be receiving it soon. :thumbsup2

hauntedmansionmomma-- I got my chunky envie full of coupons. Thank you! :) Way to recycle those envelopes! You might want to tape around the edges though, just to play it safe, because the envelopes seem to be arriving with small tears here and there. No major damage,.... just letting you know about it. ;)

yes, I know I've been living on the edge with those recycled envies! Sharpen your scissors...I will add more tape:lmao:

Ok girls what do you think of the show?? I have mixed emotions..I like seeing how much they are saving..Although I would like to see more tips on how they are doing it, like the coordinating end of it the databases they find to match up coupons and sales..Im still fairly new at couponing and love to learn new things..

On another note, I really dont like the whole stockpiles taking up there whole house(not to offend anyone that does this) I just feel like buy what you need and maybe a few more but seriously 36 bottles of mustard..104 rolls of toilet paper that just seems like hoarding to me..jmo

Love to hear your thoughts

Sunshine74--Mailed your envie today! Hope there are lots you can use!

Shortstuff7429 - Went through those, and the 3 huge envies from this weekend, all last night. There were a bunch I could use, and still tons to pass along. Thanks so much!!

Hmcfall711 - I'll be mailing 3 huge envies your way today. sorry late this week again!

SUNSHINE74 Got your envie today.

Thanks. I really needed the Purex coupons because I am finally at the end of the stockpile I had from 2 sumers ago. Now if they will only go on sale BOGO again.

There are a bunch more Purex in this week's batch, too! Maybe I should try Purex. I use All Free & Clear, but there haven't been many All coupons lately....

I didn't see it because it was on at the same time as AI and Survivor and our DVR is not working which made it very frustrating. :headache: I hope they rerun it sometime soon and maybe the DVR will be repaired.

However, when I saw the initial series a month or two ago I thought HOLY COW...don't ever let me become that obsessed with coupons. I do a little stockpiling but refuse to let it take over all my closets and shelves like I saw on that show. That was a little scary! :scared1:

I felt the same way. I didn't get to see the beginning of the show, but I did think it was kind of interesting. Yes, I would like to see more of their strategies. I will stock up on something if it is on sale and I have great coupons, but not like that. I kept looking at all that food thinking, "it's going to expire before they can use it."

I haven't seen it yet, but have it tivo'd. I can't wait to watch it. I am assuming some of them use sites to tell how to match coupons to sales. I use couponmom.com. It is just like the grocery game, but it is free. She tells you when the coupon item is at it's best price. I do a little stockpiling, like toilet paper, because I know we will use it. It has helped me go from about 20 dollars a week to 40-60 dollars in savings a week. I only buy stuff I know we will use, but it has helped. That and the best coupon train buddy EVER who sends me stuff I need every week! Thanks DINKDisneyaddict!
