Yayayaya for our meet!! I'm so excited. We'll see about Splash Mountain, I've only ridden once and I was 13. It freaks me out but maybe if I go with you I will be brave and not cry.

We don't have a set time. Our plane lands at approx. 10:10AM. We plan to check in at Riverside and then head over to Magic Kingdom. I figure that I will text you once we land so we can get a better handle of the time. How does that sound?

I couldn't figure out how to check in online for my May DVC reservation either, so I didn't. And honestly, I was checked in about 5 minutes when I got there!

Oh wait - I remember why I didn't try harder to check in. It was because we were using 2 different credit cards to pay for the dining plan and I knew that would never work on line. Anyway - took no time at WL. zip, nada, none.

I love all the people who check in on line - Makes it so much easier for me!

LL....You better ride SM. I will be checking with you!!!!!

I'm SO excited about our meet! The HM makes me nervous - I'm such a wuss - I haven't done Snow White either. I only do ToT because I ilke the dropping! I would happily skip the rest. But EVERYONE says the HM is cheesy, campy fun - so I'm game. Plus, if I freak out at least I have someone to laugh about it with!

I probably won't call DVC, I'll just check-in when I get there if I don't figure it out...hopefully I won't regret that.

I think it was MeMom's reviews that sent me looking for an ADR there! All the pics of the characters in their swim gear, and her reviews of how fun it was inspired me to check it out - plus right next to BWV, can't beat that! I'm very excited about sharing pictures and even video right away on FB.

EE at night is AWESOME. In September its dark enough too where you can't see the track. It's so freaky - I love it!!! I've done it twice at night now, looking forward to #3.

You should come with! You can do it! Face that fear! I'm wigging a bit about HM - which I know is silly, but it's true! If we both freak out we can laugh about it together.

Your plan on the text sounds perfect. I'm thinking we'll get to MK right around Noon, maybe a bit after if we are taking it slooooow.

Glad it's just not me with online! It is such a weird system. Disney's websites are just awful. I've heard some interesting stories bout LONG lines to check in at BWV, hopefully I hit the timing right!

I agree! I can't remember AT ALL what it's like. I'm a big fan of thrill rides, so I'm looking forward to it! I'm not so fond of getting wet, but in September heat it won't be bad. And I just might pull a Mrs. Anita Wigd and bring a shower cap.

Eight days is the worse/best part of the countdown. You're under 10 days, just short of the 1 week mark. You're so close but time is CRAWLING!

But really it will zoom by! It just never feels like it does!

since you happen to be staying at the Boardwalk I'm even MORE excited since we're staying there in January!

One wee little week lies between myself and my Happy Place.

One Monday.



Two weeks from today we'll be...

Packing up our stuff. Saying good-bye to this

However, our flight doesn't leave until 7:35; therefore we have a ton of time until ME! So let's dwell on the fun stuff!

We have absolutely NO plans this day, other than get on the ME and fly home. Which, I wouldn't mind skipping out of.

Well, honestly, I love where we live now, so coming home isn't as bad.


Anyway - no plans for the day. Will we end up here?

Or maybe here instead since it's so close

Maybe we'll go resort hopping. Or explore our own. Go on a tour over at BLT. Rent a surrey bike. Go swimming. Rent a jet ski. Go mini golfing. Go to DTD and eat chocolate covered pretzels.

I haven't a clue! And I really, really, really love that!


As I mentioned previously, today is SUITCASE DAY! It has been pulled out of the closet and some stuff has been tossed in. There is zero organization so far, but that will come later.

I also thought of a few things that I need to get done...I still haven't confirmed with Joe, or called back to set up a Resort Photo Shoot. I've read that you can pretty much just walk-up and get one while you are there, so if I don't get this done before the trip, all well. We'll just meander over to the BC and sign up.

I need to buy coffee. You may remember my big bag of coffee from a previous PTR update; however, we are almost out of our normal stuff, so that baby will get cracked into tomorrow morning. I want a full, new bag to bring to Disney. I can pick this up anytime - I run to the grocery store almost every single day.

And lastly, and MOST IMPORTANT, I need to organize the Photopass Share. We have our group (hi ladies!), and things are pretty well organized on my end, I just need to send out some communications. That WILL get done today/tonight!!

I have a feeling Twitter will be left in the dust a bit because of this...but if you are just on Twitter and not on FB, please let me know - if there are a lot of people following me only on Twitter I'll be sure to keep that busy too, otherwise the plan is just to focus on FB.
