Are you just freaking out yet? I would be! Love your suitcase pic- I throw everything in at once too!

Can't wait to hear about all of Henry's opinions on things! I forget- are you having a birthday party for him before you leave?

So far I'm not freaking out too much - and I'm still sleeping! In a couple days it might be another story. So far I haven't experienced the "I want to switch EVERYTHING around" issue that I usually get just before a trip either!

We are having a very small party for him - just us three. We don't know too many people here yet and since we leave the very next morning I just want to keep it low key. I am thinking I'll take H to the zoo that day (Joe has to work), and then that night we'll order food in and have cake and open presents over Skype with the respective family member who sent him the gift. We got a few Toy Story decorations at a party store a couple weeks ago - he's gonna LOVE them! I'll be sure to take pics and post them!

Yay for one week! Can't wait for the facebook updates.

I'm excited to share them! Words are one thing, but bringing pictures and video is SO MUCH FUN!

I had to go back to your post, because I remembered a huge bag of coffe, but it turns out the picture was very zoomed in. But stil - you need 11 oz of coffe for 5 days? You are really very addicted

I am addicted! And so is Joe! We won't use all the coffee - a bag does last us quite a while...BUT, I like to open a fresh bag our first day in the Villa. I'm weird.

Haunted Mansion is too awesome to be scary! You'll be looking at all of the incredible Disney magic, and you won't be thinking 'scary' at all. It is not as high on my list as it is for most, but I still like it, and scary truthfully isn't even a part of it. You'll love the hitch-hiking ghost coming along with you at the end.

You guys just need to make a pact to ride those rides together and then share your fun with us in pictures.

I would LOVE it if LL came with us!!!! Its too bad they don't have a chicken exit right before the big drop so you can enjoy most of the ride, then quickly get out at the last second.

I'm glad to hear about your thoughts on HM! The whole ghost thing isn't my favorite sort of ride - I don't like it on ToT either, but it IS Disney Classic and I LOVE that. Plus, like you said, and I've heard before, the magic of it far outweighs all else!

I make no promises about Splash Mountain. I fell asleep last night thinking about how it wouldn't be that bad then had a whole night of plunging to my death dreams.

OH NO! That is awful. Don't pressure yourself sweetie! Do whatever you are comfortable with. If you choose not to, you choose not to - no worries!

I was bummed thinking you were only going to update FB and thought it might be too stalkerish if I ask to friend you but since you mentioned it... I will send you a PM!

My friend just got back from BWV. He said it was a perfect trip, hot during the day but wonderfully comfortable at night. His room was ready early, he described in vivid detail the yummies he got at the Boardwalk Bakery and all the fun night happenings!! So you are definitely in for some fun!!

Now get that suitcase organzied lady!!!

Not stalkerish! I love having DIS friends on my FB!! I will be updating Twitter too - LL reminded me about the connection between Twitter and FB - so Twitter will get the text only updates and FB will get it all!

Ooooh my. The report back from your friend sounds heavenly!!! YAY!

The suitcase is still in the exact same state as yesterday. To my defense we were out and about last night, and little boy took up all my time this morning!

6 days Brook!!! I am so excited for you! This is your last weekend before Disney!

I really do love Haunted Mansion and it's not a scary haunt I swear! Leslie, SM is fun too! that sounds like so much fun!

I KNOW! I'm soooo excited! Weekends always fly right by, so before I know it, we'll be on the airplane!!!!

I'm glad to hear your review on HM too! Everyone says that, so I'm finally conquering the fear/weirded-out-ness and DOING IT. I'm excited to ride it with LL! I hope LL does Splash, but I don't want her being completely freaked out about plunging to her death. So we'll see! Maybe we can just hit up the Splash playground area instead.

I'm thrilled to hear Henry might be tall enough for his own gun!!! That would be GREAT, he'll just love it! That is so funny about your DS kicking and all trying to get the gun to go faster. I have a feeling Henry will forget about the gun and just be excited to see his "friends"...though he has gotten really into guns lately...which is STRANGE since I've never shown him what one was/how it works. The only thing I can tie it back to is the naughty kid from The Incredibles!

EXACTLY! We get the same thing with "stupid" and "idiot" - I tell him he CANNOT call people those words because he would say "Stupid Mommy" when he was mad at me because I wouldn't let him have fruit snacks for breakfast or the like. He hasn't done that in a while - he learned!

Seems like we have a similar packing approach. Phase I is to make a pile in or adjacent to the suitcase. Organizing doesn't come til much later in the process.

Brooke - My boys did this to no end when they were little. Especially Nicholas. They grow out of it. Especially around the time they start to notice girls! No, seriously - its before that!

I have a coworker who went into this big thing one day about how she refuses to let her son play with guns, how they teach the wrong message, etc. Another coworker piped in and said "If he has fingers, he will learn to make a gun. I would be more concerned if you saw him lighting animals on fire, relax on the guns". Aiden isn't into or aware of guns yet but I have no issue with him playing with UNREALISTIC guns, like a Nerf gun or something. And like you said, he can shoot up the table or a tree, but we will teach him to respect guns, even fake ones.

After talking to my friend who just came back from BWV I got very depressed. I have over 1 year 3 months till we go back. Phewey!!

But love that so many fab people around here do reports so I can live through them!!!

Is it 5 days now? WOOHOO!!! OMG - you are so close! I was checking in on you during my lunch break at work, but didn't have time to respond. My DS started 1st grade this week so that took up a little more of my spare time at night. They seriously grow up fast, let me tell ya!

I can't wait to follow you on FB and SEE what you guys are up to! GUESS WHAT? I got me a new iPhone 4 last weekend!! YAHOO!! As I mentioned to you before, I had been on the fence for awhile and since my DH already has the 3GS and was with AT&T we could get a family plan and I get a corporate discount of 20% so I did the math and for me it's only a little over $10 more a month for it compared to what I was paying before. Granted I had to fork out the $ for the phone, but oh well! I'm loving it, of course! Any new apps you're in love with?

YAY for wonderful DIS Meets, no matter what you decide to do it will be great fun!!!!! BTW Brook as a resident HM expert ( I have self titled myself LOL) it is just cheesy fun!!! The song is catchy and you'll be dancing right along with the ghosts!!! And the doombuggies...well we all know how badly I want one in my house LOL!!!!
