You can get water if it not out. Just ask the CM. They will happily get it for you. They don't put milk out at night but you can ask for it.

Was finally able to do online check-in tonight for our trip Oct 11-15th! No Magic Band invite but DF and I have two each from last month's testing at POP and YC so we're going to try and see if they'll reactivate them for us!

But when I was there April 2012, the laundry room used quarters. $2 wash, $2 dry. But I didn't "carry" them around, there's a change machine inside the laundry. There's a soap machine and vending machines also. Very nice laundry room!!

Hasn't changed, just did laundry a few hours ago. Coins only but there are change machines.

Do the laundry rooms at CSR have credit card-enabled (or KTTW-enabled) machines? Or do I need to carry a buttload of quarters with me?

just returned home today from CSR, did laundry a few days ago. The machines are $2 to wash, $2 to dry and only take quarters. There is a change machine in the laundry room.

My dollar bills were wrinkled from the rain and it wouldn't take them though. I had my DH go get change from the main building so we did end up carrying around a buttload of quarters. Also it took 2 cycles to dry my clothes completely.

I'll be at CSR on Friday. I changed my reservation from POR, so I have MBs from that reservation. CSR said as long as I already have the Bands, they can activate them on Friday. They're just not giving any out until the test officially starts on 10/14.

To the person who asked about the fridge, ours was working well in our room and even kept the water ice cold. You can make hot water in your coffee pot but it is not boiling. the coffee is Jeffrey's pods and I liked it, my DD did not. They were working on a walkway along the side of the Quiet Pool in the Cassitas and construction walls were up, so I do not think this was landscaping. Please pardon our dust, please use alternate walkway signs were up.

45 days to go!!!!! Beyond excited! I was bent originally on a particular building but now I'm so darn excited and love the diversity of this group and that nearly everyone's opinions are different but everyone agrees this resort is beeeeeeeautiful that I no longer care where we stay and I embrace the surprise of the room we are placed in!!!! ALSO just found out I get MB's!!!!! Was told that this resort was excluded, but looks like my Fate has changed!

Here now in Cabanas 9a. Checked out the Food& Wine soft opening. So far the bus service
has been great, and the new refrigerator is keeping things very cold. Happy to be here!

Starting on the 3rd of October. I'm bummed that we missed the Magic Bands (by this much...) but looking forward to the trip!

Got back on Sunday from our first stay at Coronado and LOVED it, have stayed at POFQ and POP on previous trips and this is by far our favorite out of the three.....on our last morning we had several unused counter service and table service credits left, the CM working the register turned our receipt over and gave us the snack credits in exchange for them!!!!

Overall fantastic resort, stayed in the Ranchos 7A, rented a car and the kids LOVED the pool, we loved the pool bar

Booked bounceback for next year but since we are adding a 3rd adult to that trip we are going to be staying at POR for the first time.

Quick question - I know that we will be in 9B based on the fact that we booked a business class room. When I do my online check-in, are there any room requests that would even be good based on the fact that these rooms all appear to be in about the same area?

I would love some advice. I know all the business class rooms are listed as "standard view" so I don't even know what my options are.

I didn't walk the entire perimeter of 9b but one side overlooks the lake with the hammocks (our room was 9502 and faced this-first floor) but I think there was also a lake on the other side too. Not positive though. It was fantastic location. Minutes from bus stop 1 and slightly longer to bus stop 4. Not far from dig site either!

This was the view from room 9530 in Cabanas 9B. It was in the back and faced the lake that sits between the building and the parking lot. It was a beautiful view and very quiet.

Thanks amfie928 and auntfrannie for the room information! Good to hear that even though they are standard view that some of them have some water views.

Guess I will do my check in! We are 14 days from leaving and only will be at CSR in 17 days!

I'm checking in at CSR on 10/26. I got an email at 5:40 am today saying my Magic Bands were shipped. I clicked the tracking link and it said they would arrive by 10:30 this morning. The UPS truck pulled up at 10:10. I'm just posting to let you know my experience.

I'm not all excited about Magic Bands. It's very uncomfortable. I'm not looking forward to wearing this stiff plastic bracelet all day. I know I don't have to wear it but it would probably be more uncomfortable in my pocket where it would also be easier to lose it. I don't get the giddy euphoria over Magic Bands.

I agree I found it very uncomfortable to wear. I ended up hooking it on my belt loop.

We're checking in the day before the Magic Band test starts and the wife was disappointed that we wouldn't be able to participate. She even wanted us to split our reservation so we check in on October 14th to pick up the bands. I hate wearing a watch so I'm not looking forward to wearing a band. The only thing we're missing out on is the FastPass+ advance selections.
