What times do the buses work to get to the parks from the resort? if this has been asked I am sorry for asking again.

Just booked CSR for May 27-June 5  this will be our first stay at CSR. I put a request for Cabanas 9B (which I know requests are a long shot, but maybe one of these times we'll get what we request ;) ).

Casita's or Cabana's? Which are do you prefer?

I really don't want to stay in the Rancho's section, and being near the dig site is not important to us.

I'd like to be close to a bus stop AND Pepper Market? :cool1:

my personal favorite is Casistas!
Casistas 1, 2 or 3 would put you closest to the PM. Of those, 2 is closest to a bus stop! :thumbsup2

Sorry I've been missing in action lately (super busy at work, went to a Cubs game -- that was sad and our youngest son is home visiting). But it looks as if several of our "regular" CSR DISer's have answered all questions.

If anything got missed, I'm around most of the weekend and will answer as soon as I can. Four weeks and we will be HOME at the CSR. :)

Hello all! Well our trip has hit a large speed bump. I've posted my mess here:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2538356

If anyone has time to check it out and see if you have a solution to the problem, it would be greatly appreciated.

I had everything perfect, but in the long run it's the right choice for my son. I just need to figure out how to make it work with out paying an arm and a leg.

Thanks!

I hope you find a solution. And best of luck to your son -- I know how stressful a time it is for tryouts for a team and you need to be there for those tryouts. Here's some additional pixiedust:pixiedust:

Thanks so much! In the long run it's the right thing to do, just so sad the dates changed:sad2:. Love the pixiedust: I feel like I really need it!

We are 3 days away from a long awaited vacation at CSR...Its our first time at WDW resort so we are totally excited! We faxed our room request yesterday and did on-line check in for around 12 pm. Thanks so much for all the helpful information. We wouldn't have known what to do otherwise

Counting down to our first trip. Only 34 days!!! Staying at CSR and had a question about the items available Panchito's. I am trying to pack light so I can carry on and avoid checking a bag. Now I am trying to decide if it will be cheaper to hire a town car so I can stop at a store, use garden grocer or purchase the few things I need at Panchito's. Here is a list of things I would need Pkg of pull ups, sun screen, some type of hair styling gel. Also is it cheaper to purchased bottled beer at panchito's and put in fridge or to buy at the bars. (Not lushes, but hubby likes a beer at the end of the day while on vacation, and with the kids thought it might be easier and cheaper to purchase a 6 pack and keep in fridge)

We are down to 17 days! :yay::yay::yay:
I can't wait. This is our first stay at CSR. The pictures look so beautiful.
We requested a room next to a bus stop and a quiet pool.
We arrive to MCO at 11:30, then off to CSR.
WOO HOO to me.
Just needed to share my excitement with someone who I knew would care. My friends and co workers are thinking I am NUTS. Maybe I am for WDW. :lmao:

I will be back August 3rd for a birthday trip, first time ever at the World - and my beloved CSR - for my birthday! Yay!:cloud9:

When's your B-day? Mine's the 3rd- Happy Birthday!

Hi everyone; it's odd I kinda feel like I know some of you, as I've spent the majority of the last 24 hours reading this entire thread (fwiw, I've been bedbound due to a double whammy of a kidney infection and stomach virus) so at least this thread gave me something to be distracted by LOL!

I booked yesterday for our girls only Nov. 2011 trip. I booked preferred, and think I'll keep it for now. My DD has high funtioning autism, and I'll have my somewhat mobility impaired mom too. I noted ground floor for medical reasons as well. I'm hoping for Cabanas9 as I really liked the beachy feel at CBR a few trips ago, so I think this might be just the ticket. We'll have our rented car, because autism and the disney bus system aren't always compatible. We originally booked deluxe, which would have been great, but with all the price increases d/t taking away the late nov/early dec value season, we got priced out. Def. don't want POR/POFQ d/t a slight overlap w/ PW (:scared1:) and we thought that the Christmas decorations at CSR were really lovely. (of course, a promo code, FD offer or AP rate would really sweeten the deal:love:)

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to getting to know y'all a bit, and hearing about your trips while I wait for mine (just went to WDW the beginning of June, but it feels like it's been forever). Thank you so much for all of your incredible information and patience in this thread.

:woohoo::woohoo: for being so close to your first stay at a WDW resort. I hope you have a most magical trip.

The items at Panchito's are going to be on the more expensive side. I don't remember if they sell pull ups (it's been a VERY long time since I had little ones); I know they have sun screen and hair styling products, but they are pricey. I don't remember the price of the beer, but it would probably be cheaper to get a six pack at Panchitos than to buy individual bottles at the bar.

Robin, it will be here before you know it. You should be at CSR around 1 p.m. or so. Like I've said before, the heck with the friends and coworkers. What do they know???? :lmao:

6 days to go for us at the CSR! My first time in YEARS staying at Disney and my family's first time ever at the parks. My two boys (22 months & 5 years) are SUPER excited!!
