Hi,
We are really thinking of csr for our fall trip this year. My parents are making the trip down with us. My mom has a hard time walking long distances due to back problems and swollen feet all the time. She requires the cart at parks to make it around. We would need room fairly close to pool\parking\ and food court. We would like to have our rooms close together if at all possible. Just so kids can be close to grandparents. If we explain this to Hotel will we have a better shot at getting what we need? What rooms would you say would work for my parents? Do the showers have safety rails in them? This is going to be a slower paced trip this year for us and this resort seems to be perfect! Any input would be great. Thanks

We are going to be there the 7th-14th.

Thank you everyone for the warm wishes and prayers for my brother and family. Unfortunately, he is not improving. He is still in critical condition. He's on a ventilator and he has an enlarged heart and degenerative heart disease; also, the right muscle of his heart is completely shot and there is nothing they can do for it. He is currently being sedated because he got very incoherent and confused (they are thinking it was a lack of oxygen to his brain). They need to get him calm before they can proceed with any heart treatments.

We were planning on booking coronado springs when free dining is announced(if it is) and now they are booked up.
Where should we stay now? We are so disappointed that only suites are available. Has this happened to anyone and then more rooms opened up(people cancelled)?

I would keep trying. They often block rooms for the convention groups and then release them and people are always cancelling. Perhaps book somewhere else and then keep checking at the CSR.

And to all of the other posters, your prayers mean the world to me and my entire family. My brother had more problems develop overnight so he is definitely far from being out of the woods and we are now in a wait and see period until they can sort it out and see what can be done for him.

As KatMark said, keep checking your dates.

Twice now I've had my dates w/ room type open up after nothing was available. Just keep checking .
