Yes, the casita 4 quiet pool is a lap pool.

I would have said no. It's just a regular pool.

I was in the pool and never even noticed the lane lines. Maybe because people were not using it to swim laps. We were all just floating around.

Now I have also read that the hours are from 8am - 9pm. I was wondering if any of y'all thought there would be an issue if someone was just swimming laps early morning say 6am? Or late evening say 10 or 11pm?

After much deliberation and a misguided reservation at another resort whose name I will not mention...we are booked at CSR for February 20-26, 2011!!! We are going back and this time we're bringing our three year-old son! So excited. I paid the extra money for a water view and requested Cabanas.

Quick question: There are late evening EMHs at MK the night I arrive...does anyone know what time the busses will stop taking you to the MK on those nights? I know the busses will be there to take me back, but I might not go until much later this time as I think I'm going solo that night. TIA!

The buses run both ways until an hour or two after EMHs end.

Thanks Kathy! I might do that!! We are leaving on the 19th pretty early in the a.m. so I think the 7:15a.m. or 2:00 on the 18th might work out better!

How many days before we arrive should I fax my request in, is it better to do this on a weekday? Will need to do at least 24hrs before hand as that is how long it will take us to get there. Any advice would be great. Thanks guys. 12 more sleeps....can't wait.

Yes, you can still fax the resort (fax number on first page, first post of this thread).

There is no charge for a pack n play for baby to sleep in. Some people rent a fullsize crib as it would be had to get a large 2 year old to sleep in a pack n play.

Yes; all rooms either have two queen beds or one king bed.

I was considering NOT doing online check-in b/c I'm wondering if that would give me a better chance of getting my room request but I also think that doing online check-in makes you more likely to get into your room if it's before check-in time, am I right?

We've done online check-in twice. The first time, we did not get our room request, but I asked for a different room and got switched. It only took a few minutes, and the CM was happy to help. It didn't matter at all that everything was already printed. The second time we didn't make any requests and didn't asked to be moved. Both times, the online check-in line was shorter than the regular check-in time (once by several people, once by just a few people).

I think it might help your room be ready if they know you are checking in before the official check-in time, but I don't know for sure.

If it makes you feel better, you can do online check-in the day before you leave - your room should have already been assigned by then. But if you are arriving early and they have assigned a room that won't be ready by that time (e.g. if it is being vacated that morning), they might have to switch you anyway if you want to get into a room.
