Coronado Springs Advice Needed

Will be attending a conference at CSR, May 14-20. Does anyone have any advice for a room location request? would like to be close to main bldg, I think, ... ?is that where meeting rooms are located?
Currently, have requested Casitas 1 or Cabanas 9B ...
Also, any tips concerning this resort? thanks much!

The conference rooms are in the front of the resort. Casitas 1 or Cabanas 9B will be a short walk. We originally requested Cabanas, but didn't get it. They put us in Ranchos which felt like it was on the other side of the world. The resort is one of the largest (if not, the largest) WDW resort that we have visited. Good luck.

I would definitely request Cabanas -- they're beautiful! As for resort tips, be sure to spend some time napping in the hammocks, exploring the trails around the Ranchos, and soaking in the beautiful and relaxed atmosphere. Also, be sure to rent a kayak for a spin around Lago Dorado! Don't forget to look for the hidden Mickey on the huge wooden doors at the entrance.

cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site over the wooden bridge

cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building.

cabana 8b and 9a are inbetween the 2 above.

ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

The casitas 1, 2 and 3 are close to the main building, gym, spa and have great fountains and courtyards.

Casita 5 is close to the Dig Site with a good walk to the main building. The lower the casita number the closer towards the main building.
