We have it every year. DH loves it, I hate it.
It is one of the only "irish" meals I like. My grandma used to make finan haddie yuk! mashed potatoes with creamed salt cod and peas...monarchsfan16 said:We did it once, but thankfully never again. I'm about 50% Irish, and I wasn't a fan.

Oh my! Now thats one meal I think I could skip even thinking about.
You don't go to a greek restaurant for irish food. Anyway, I volunteered to make it the right way and now we have 15-20 families over every year. We also make grasshopper milkshakes (creme de mint----yummy yummy) for the adults and chocolate chip mint shakes for the kids---because they're green of course. Can't forget the green beer too. I
