Corbin Bleu A MUST SEE!!!

I do not know if this belongs on this board but I wanted to share this with you anyway. If you ever have the chance to see Corbin Bleu....GO! I cannot believe I loved his concert as much as my DD's. He is a very talented young man. But the best part is that he is so nice. The group I went with (my DD's...my friend and her DD) talked me into driving around back and try to catch a glimpse of him as he boards his bus. We low and behold he is standing outside signing autographs. We waited in line for well over and hour and we were in the middle...there were tons of people behind us. We were worried that he would stop signing autographs right before he got to us but one of the security guards told me that he will stand outside all day if he has to so he can meet all of his fans. By the time he got to us you could tell he was tired but he signed each of the girls' lanyards and posters. He also posed for pictures and thanked each girl and myself and my friend (individually) for coming to his concert. I really hope this talented boy has a long lasting career. After all the bad press about rude young actors, it is so nice to see a nice and respectful performer who really appreciates his fan.

I'm taking the DD 5 tonight to see him and Vanessa Hudgens at the WI State Fair. I can't wait to see them. I just hope it's not too loud for my DD.

It is pretty loud. I packed cotton in DD8's ears and she was fine. He is touring with Justin Stein. I don't know who he is but it looks like Disney is going to groom him. We got his autograph, too. He may be the "IT" guy next year.

I can't say I'm a huge Corbin Bleu fan. I guess I'm out of that demographic but my daughters certainly enjoy his work.
I remember seeing a blurb on the Disney Channel about how they had a bunch of chronically ill children from the Make A Wish Foundation meet the cast of HSM2. They showed Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens meeting the kids briefly but Corbin Bleu was everywhere! He was signing autographs, posing for photos, and he seemed genuinely touched and interested in the children. During his interview he seemed to really care and I remember being very impressed with him. After reading about how he stays to meet ALL his fans, I am even more impressed. I hope he does well. I just wish his stage name didn't make me think of food!

Just a word of warning. If you have general admission tickets get there early. We got there 2.5 hours before the concert and it was already mobbed. People (aka young girls ) started lining up at 9am for the 2pm concert. We got there early enough and had a great view but if you want your DD to get right up to the stage leave way early.
